Ey Anders, u think u could make it possible to put the sound @ 00:11 - 00:20 into the radio of the (russian?)-FOB? And some of the sounds from 01:44 to the end, like the shots/explosions veeeery far away, with muuuuch echo? They remind me of... hmmm... what BF2 Mod was it? Dunno anymore, but in some other mod there were those veeeery good sounds, maybe was AIX with enduring-background-sounds having this quality, on maps like Tobruk...

Re: [Audio] PR 0.973 Anders Soundmod
same error, don't know how to fix it. i'm on 32bit win7Lajning wrote:This mod is very impressive. I've used it for some time now.
However, after a Bf2 reinstall I have some issues.
I first placed the installer in my "Bf2-stuff" directory, and not the BF2 directory. I installed it and used it without issue. The installer asked for my BF2 directory and all. Now though, it keeps asking for the directory every time I launch the installer.
I get the "couldn't find the bf2 directory" box, and I also get a .Net framework error "an unhandled exception has occurred in your application", Could not find path D:\mods\pr\serverarchives.con. The path for my BF2 folder is D:\Program\Spel\Battlefield2
If I press "continue" at the .Net framework error, I can install/uninstall and enable/disable the mod without trouble. But I still get these messages every time I launch it, not a big problem, but very annoying.
I run as administrator on a win7 64 bit system.
Any thoughts?

That's odd. I have windows 7 and my BF2 directory is OS(C) program files (x86)/ EA games/ Battlefield 2.

mmm, I reinstalled windows today (from 32bit to 64 bit), and it worked,I don't get the error anymore. Seems that you must try to install it in the default folder at all times (C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2),however I did install it in the correct folder on the 32bit installment but that still gave the error.

Strange... although, I really do NOT understand how people can be so *** to choose another install-directory than the standard one, since it causes ONLY trouble, having a complete other directory.

Maybe someone is running his OS on a SSD with a small amount of capacity and that's the reason he installed it on another HDD? Or uses partitions and sort things on his HDD?

^ is there really much point in making a video using the current version when Anders claims the next one isn't far away?

Is it normal that on PR Vietnam with your mod we don't have sound when we cut someone ?
tested on Tad Sae skirmish, cutting 2 ennemies and no sound

Should work I guess. Haven't tested that. Havent done anything to the "stick-a-knife-into-a-body" sounds.qs-racer wrote:Is it normal that on PR Vietnam with your mod we don't have sound when we cut someone ?

The echo wash or reverb wash is a bit over powering. Although, the sound itself is very good, if not, ideal. Here's a few I had done back when Arma came out.

Re: [Audio] PR 0.973 Anders Soundmod
Here's an example of a good blend of echo for both forest and urban battles, although I strongly suggest the actual fire of the sound the weapon makes should be more percussive. No matter if you fire one in person with ear protection or not, there will still be a percussive effect. Live recording will not produce the right or correct sound.

EPIC, that M1 Abrams tank main gun shot sound-effect... didn't watch everything. AT4 also very nice. M249 too silent/soft (?).
PEEEEERFECT Javelin Launch!!! (Animation & Sound!!!)
WTF DUUUUDE!!! AMAAAZING Blackhawk gatling!!!

Well, Harrier & A-10 missile launch sounds still r too strange... missing the "ShhhhHHHHHHHHH!!!! " And not the/that DIRECT "PFFfffff!" u understand?
WTF Cobra gatling= .50 cal or what? xD
"BOOM BOOM BOOM" to heavy imo. That small BRDM or whatever @ the end, nice gun sounds, though I have no idea if really sounds like that in reality.
