[Effects] NEW Flare Effect

Hey!

Started working in BF2Editor.exe yesterday, and this is what I've got. These are brand new flares I made, so if RealityMod devs ever need it, just PM me and I'll send you :)

Notice how it looks like if AC130 propellers ruined smoke at start, while elsewhere its kind of linear. I got that effect accidentaly :D

You could probably use the Fraps trial for recording. Looking real good from the screenshot anyways! It would be nice indeed to see it in motion. :)

But MSI Afterburner is better than XFire recording. But yeah, for THIS thing the 30 sec. Fraps trial suits best.

Looks great, just a bit more smoke and less fading speed and that thing is gonna be beast.

I've used AC130 flares as reference, which flares dissapear really fast. On such low altitudes it indeed might be better if it was longer. Flare effect is long but in aircraft *.tweak file it's emit time is reduced because to me it looks better that way.

The flares could stay alive a tiny bit longer, but that's an easy fix. The effect is pretty cool!

For awesomeness, could you do a video that looks like this? :D

While yes, I think we can all agree a more realistic flare dispersion system dose look much better, we also need to consider its gameplay impact. That amount of flares all popping out and from all thous angles are going to seriously confuse missiles, possibly to the point where evading missiles is just way too easy, which some would say it is already.

Needs gameplay testing to really determine if this is a big factor or not but it is a deciding factor unfortunately.
