Yes, I meant hibernate then.

I do so too. Actually never use "hibernate" anymore. I'm quite patient too, with my super-slow 2TB HDD, loading takes apparently a lot more time than it would with a new modern 500GB one...

Got the SSD, however I can't flash the firmware because I need to enable AHCI on my BIOS. Each time I enable AHCI and reset, I get a BSOD when I am loading Windows. I can't flash the firmware unless I enable AHCI.. any clues?

OCZ Technology

I guess you should be able to flash it by booting from CD. There should be ISO for download, so get it and burn it to a blank CD, then boot your PC off it. Read instructions carefully.

I've already read this and this is what I am going off of. In order to use the toolbox I must enable AHCI. I tried to download the firmware update, however it didn't work. Could just be my connection though.

I am not able to find an ISO for flashing the firmware. Could you perhaps point me in the right direction?

Read this:
Read this thoroughly! Print this!!!

Download this tool:

Unzip, burn the .ISO to CD . Use Imgburn(freeware) or something similar.

Reboot, switch to AHCI , Boot Options ->(First Boot priority = CD Drive), Save BOOT/BIOS Options

Boot from CD

Alright, got the firmware updated and everything, however PR loads at the same speed even though I have it installed on the SSD (the only thing so far). I'll post my full specs and see if anything is bottlenecking the speed or if I'm just doing something wrong in general.

ahh, but it is improved, you will not have terrain warping and other random mesh problems now.,

try flying low and at full speed, you'll see the difference immediately.
