I have gotten a few friends into PR recently but one's game keeps crashing. He's really itching to play.
When he joins a server it hangs on "verifying client data" right at the end of the loading screen. Just as the "join" button tauntingly pops up the game crashes to desktop with out an error message.
He has the steam version of BF2, and his OS is Win7.
Can any one help us out?

Did he try to set the path of the shortcut to a smaller custom resolution (800x600 for example) to get an error-message? Should try that.

Never mind, problem solved. Turns out he didn't install the Vietnam Beta update. Thanks any way.

xD Nice! Also nice you got a few friends into PR! Do you guys play in a clan/join a clan? Or you do you plan to found one? Or you few just play together for fun?
I recommend you to join TART and other PR-Events in the Event-section, for example the "Happy Birthday [NEW] Event".
