[Solved] Mouse/keyboard not working after joining?

So I can join a game fine. I use the mouse/keyboard to join a server, I can move the rotating tags in the loading menu, but once I get into the game, the keyboard and mouse become totally unusable to control the game. I can alt+tab out of the game, but not escape button to the main menu.. It was just working fine before I froze up and was forced to reset. Any ideas?


EDIT: Just tried out vBF2 and same thing.....

Seems like your controls file is broken. First try to reset them in Option>Control>Reset to default.

If that wont work you will have to delete your profile in My Documents>Battlefield 2>Profiles> and then you will see a folder that's named like 0001, 0002 etc, depends on number of profiles you have.

Delete all that folders with numbers, and after that ( important ) run vBF2 and retrieve your account, and edit settings. When done shut down and run PR. Make sure you run PR as administrator if on Vista/Win7.

Well, I think my controls file was corrupted, as all my control options were blank.

Thanks for the help. Never would've thought of that.
