the loaded up c130 never dominated desert combat mod. its all in balancing. i would like to see the big lumbering fighting vehicle the marines actually use. this bad boy:http://www.efv.usmc.mil/
or a fast moving striker.

littlebird+blackhawk=uh-1

bh is huge and 'sluggish'

lb is tiny and weak

huey would be a nice balance. aside from that its one of the most beautiful machines man has ever created.

Actually, I would rather see other factions vehicles made first...
MEC and China could use some toys.

Here is an awesome reference for military items.
Not much pictures but there's google for that.

But I'd go for the C130 and UH-1, I love flying vehicles.

Infantry fighting vehicles.

CHINESE QBZ-95 SERIES FULLY IN GAME!

More light vehicle variants, like TOW humvees.
Mapper of Road to Kyongan'Ni and Hills of Hamgyong;
Genius behind many Really Stupid Ideas, and some Decent Ones.

Yep, we need more chinese/mec toys. We also need more vehicle variants like Nikovk said.

The replacement for the AC-130 will have the weapons mounted on both sides of the aircraft. The first such gunship aircraft was the AC-47 in Vietnam.

The Griffon utility helicopter is a variant of the Huey, the Bell 412. The difference being that it has a 4-bladed main rotor. The Bell 212, in US service as the UH-1N, has a two-bladed rotor. This will be replaced in Marine Corps service by the UH-1Y, aka Venom or SuperHuey.

The Marines use the Huey for light utility (read: anything they need at the time; command/control, light attack, medevac, light cargo, small-unit assault transport) work, but it is found in Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadrons (HMLAs), alongside the SuperCobra. When equipped with the BRITEStar FLIR and target acquisition designation system it can also be used to scout and designate targets for the Cobras, similar to the Kiowa's interoperability with the Apache. BRITEStar will be standard equipment on the UH-1Y, and the replacement for the Kiowa is also be equipped with the BRITEStar chin-mount.

So, in effect, the UH-1N does fill the role for the Marines that the OH-58D, AH6 (armed scout/light attack) and MH-6 (small-unit transport) fill for the Army.

As for US Helos, I'd say-

Little Bird- 4 Seats
Huey (6 seats, 2 gunners on doors)
Super Stallion (8 Seats, 1 Gunner on Back

Yes the UH-1Y is a nice choper, but i hope its not the 1 put ingame, i rahter see the good old 2 bladed Huey myself, but i guess any Huey is beter than a huge blackhawk or a weak litle bird. I guess we cant have vietnam Back but the Huey can come.

I agree with Nachtwolf and Dylan, PLA/MEC vehicles are needed more.

But if new US vehicles are included, I would rather see new types of vehicles instead of replacements, such as SP mortars (LAV-M or M125, MT-LBu w/ 2B9 Vasilek, Type YW 304, FV432 w/ 82mm mortar), IFVs (Bradley, BMP-2, Type 86, Warrior), and the AAV. The only vehicle that should be replaced is the Light Jeep, which could be replaced with the M151 for the US, Land Rover for British, BJ2020SJ for the PLA and UAZ-469B for the MEC.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
