Project Reality Pirate Gamemode
Greetings Soldiers!
Im playing PR now for like 1 year and I love it. But after playing every maps twice and every gammode, I thougt about new modes that could be implemented.
Here is one of the ideas ive got.
[First the stuff which is needed ingame, after that ill explain the mode)
-Pirate Mode-
Requires:
-New Maps (Maps with a big Ocean, a carrier and at one side of the map, a small piece of land or a small island)
-A few new skins (Bluefor Captain and Bluefor crew member, for a container ship)
-MAYBE Navy Seals skins for Bluefor
-A new boat type for the pirates (like a small rowboat with motor-needs a seat for a guy with a hook to throw it at a ship)
-New container ships (Or the already existing ships)
Teams:
Navy Seals - Spawning on a Carrier in one corner of the map
Containership crew - unarmed (civis) spawning on the container ship
Pirates - (like this modern guys in somalia)
Asset:
[Bluefor] Blackhawk Chopper
[Bluefor] Boats
[Bluefor] All normal kits
[Bluefor] No area attack
[Pirates] All normal insurgency kits
[Pirates] Boats
[Ship crew] Actually unarmed (maybe knife, fists and binoculars)
[Ship crew] Big container ship - not movable
Mission:
[Pirates]
They spawn on an island or a small piece of land in the opposite corner of the map. They've got boats and normal insurgency kits to attack the ship in the middle of the map.
The Pirate team has to get on this container ship, which is in the middle of the map.
On the ship is a squad of 6 crewmen, which are hostages. If the pirates kill the hostages, the Bluefor team will only lose 1 ticket per man, but then the Bluefor team is able to rush in and use heavy asset, without worrying about killing the hostages. (If the Bluefor team kills the hostages, they will lose 50 tickets per man) -> so the Bluefor Team has to be careful <-
The Pirates are now defending the ship AND the hostages, because they can be safed by the Bluefor team - evac. with chopper.
The Pirates can also spawn on the ship after capping it.
--Mission is to lower the Bluefor tickets to ZERO--
[Bluefor]
This team has to attack the the container ship, without killing the hostages. They also have to lower the Pirate tickets to ZERO.
They also can try to extract the hostages to be able to attack the ship with heavy asset without killing the hostages.
[Crew]
The crew team is needed for this idea. It could be a team or a squad in the Bluefor team.
They have to spawn on the container ship. They pirates will take them as hostages.
(A big problem is, that a third team is needed here. Maybe its not possible, but then it has to be a single squad on the Bluefor team.)
They are unarmed and can be safed by the Bluefor team.
On the bridge is a captains kit, which has a radio and a pistol. If the hostages get this, they can report the enemy teams at the ship. (Map markers and stuff)
Maps:
We need big ocean maps with only one carrier in one corner, a cargo/container ship in the middle of the ocean and a small piece of land in the opposite corner to the carrier. -> for the pirates to spawn.
Problems:
A really big problem is, that a third team is needed. But if its not possible to create a third team, we need a way to keep random people from spawning on the container ship.
My idea is here a limited count of people who can spawn on the container ship as crew members. (like a tank squad, is the only squad thats allowed to use tanks)
Ok, thats all. Maybe you think about this idea and if there are ANY question open, i will answer them as soon as possible.

Yeh, there is already something similar in development, thats why you need 25 posts for a suggestion, to understand or to become aware that most of the suggestions have already been made.

In order to make a suggestion, by writing a post in the suggestion-section of the forums, you need 25 posts. If you don't have 25 posts, you can't write in the suggestion-section. However, if you choose not to care about the forum-rules, and decide to make a suggestion anyways, it would count as a suggestion outside the suggestion-forum, and it will be locked.

Tbh, this seems more like a once a month event game mode, it's cool, but not really important.

In addition to what darkcloak and the rest of you guys said: If anyone wishes to make such a map, go right ahead! Perhaps the community can cook up a game mode, even, and make this an event!
