Thanks for the kind words. Really though Millenia did a brilliant job with the model and bake. He released it to the public if anyone wants to try and texture it.

Yea,model are nice,but they wrong a bit.
Wrong cartridge.AKS-74U uses 5.45 mags same as AK-74/AKS-74,not 7.62 from old AKM.

And looks like texture cannot hide wrong cartridge.

Even old AKMs uses plastic cartridges.
Look at form,upper ones got 7.62 caliber,lower - 5.45.IMO model ones looking like as 7.62 cuz they got bigger curve.

Metal 5.45 do not exist,even if it's not - it's just a prototypes,which made in limited quantity.

I figure this depends quite a bit on this millenia guy, even if he's made his model public he needs to give permission for including it in a project as grand as this one, and of course the PR devs must feel a particular need to replace the current model.

@seb120 shouldn't be the one magazin of your high poly AK flipped? I mean the two magazine which are taped together. shouldn't one be flipped by 180??

Indeed. In fact I planned to first get the rough shape right, bacause i basically work of photos, and then add detail. I somewhow slipped and started adding detial with the leg and on the bit when leg joins the main frame. I enjoy adding those small things much more than guessing dimensions and the general stuff.
