tabs to desktop but still runs

hows it going, right when i start PR or BF2 it just keeps tabing to desktop, ive never had this problem in the 1000+ hours ive been bashing this
this is the error:

Edit: it seems to have fixed it self... Thanks anyway

What is the native resolution of your monitor?
What resolution did you usually play bf2/pr on before this error?
Your common\battlefield 2\mods\pr\ar16_9.sar file is corrupted.
But it probably is NOT corrupted.
We just had this problem last week, my hunch is one of the recent updates to XFire is causing this.

TRY THIS TEST:
1. Completely shutdown XFire.
2. Run PR.
3. IF PR still causes error, shutdown the process.
4. edit your PR.exe shortcut to

"c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +restart +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1280 +szy 1024

Edit "+szx 1280" and "+szy 1024" values to your desired resolution in game.
5. Start PR.
6. Report back on what happens.

Sorry I did have a gander but couldn't find the thread , my monitor is 42" LCD running 1776x1000 on pr maxed out , I don't run xfire as a rule so it can't be that. It started last week but it seems to have just fixed it self today after I messed about with the new ccc suite from ATI my card is a hd 6870 . I think it was that even tho I'm not shure but it's working as normal now
