"Connection Lost to the Server"

My friend have been getting this error "Connection lost to the server" every time he clicks on a server. He said that he haven't seen the loading screen yet, then when he click another server after the error his game crashes.

Tries to make it work
-Restart computer
-Download latest patch
-i think he has the latest patch of punk buster

Double check he has manually updated punkbuster.

Turn off all programs that can record BF2 and have in game overlays, such as Fraps, Steam community, PR_mumble, etc.

Try to turn off his firewall and antivirus and connect to a server. I do not recommend keeping the firewall and antivirus turned off any longer than necessary. If this does fix it, report back and we'll help you make a rule in the antivirus/firewall to allow bf2 and PR traffic through.

GO to Battlefield 2\mods\pr and find PRError.log , open it in a text editor, scroll to bottom, and copy the last several error messages, also copy any other interesting recent messages that seem to be relevant. Paste them in a reply in this thread.
