People have seen first person shooters before.
Pr Arma is just Arma faster paced with a different feel. It's an improvement, but for the innovation there's just too many problems with it. People can play other mods that are a lot more stable and polished.

Dayz, however, is nothing anybody's seen before and they probably didn't know they were waiting for it. (Oddly enough I was waiting for it)

Entirely new concept v. New approach to tired concept
What wins?

Nothing needs to win mate, but playing two mods? is that too much to ask? three if you count BF2 :P R, I dont see a problem with playing DayZ, what im trying to say is you all complained about PR (the clunkiness, bad ping etc) yet it all fades away when something like dayZ comes out?

what happened did your balls drop off? did everything you complained about on PR:Arma 2 just drop out the window? what you are seeing in dayz is a fixed Arma 2 (due to patch) just like PR now has a fixed Arma 2.

the gameplay designs were made the same as BF2 :P R
Sorry bud but your going into the territory of bullshit with that one. FYI, yes I played it and no I am not playing it. PR:BF2 awards teamwork and makes lonewolfing depressing, PR:ArmA2 is the polar opposite. That , along with the milsim elitist shit I've seen is the reason I am not playing.

Unless you have an extremely solid counter argument I believe this discussion is done.

Now DayZ is out they are playing it 24/7, what happened to all the problems with Arma?

haha how ironic

how did you come to that conclusion? kits are organised into snipers only ever having two kits available at full strength.

Oh and does this prove your complete fucking bullshit?

[RGG]

we won yet the other team had more kills?

[RGG]
again the same?

and here is some lovely teamplay with a great guy [Galzohar] leading his squad and crushing our team [Swedge Commander] in about 20 minutes

So what we have here is the fact that capturing locations and transporting units gives just as much points as killing other players

Once again a large pointy hat sits on your head and I bet you'll argue its a square.

Try again.

The only thing it proves is that you didnt bother to actually read and understand my post at the same time.

Therefore this conversation is done. I shall leave you to your bickering about DayZ

haha quoting one part of my post, very good, that answer was towards someone else first and partly to you.

you said "milsim elitist shit" wow just wow you have not had a single worth of knowledge about the community in the forums just below, we rejected ACE and ACRE ideology because we believed it would make the system too complex.

We constantly state that PR is a gameplay mod.

What do you think we do? stand around saluting each other all day? You didn't even watch the video I bet because you knew it would prove everything you say as a completely twisted version of any truth.

All I want to do is try and get some more interest in PR:Arma 2, but instead I come up against arguments like this, which for the larger part make no sense and shows you are nothing but a liar.

Btw I don't dislike DayZ, in fact we are recruiting from the DayZ forums and building a group around that, what I do dislike is all the complaints about PR:Arma 2 (which are mainly complaints about things which haven't been fixed by the arma 2 team) and people magically forget about what they said? strange.

Grow up and stop flaming each other like silly fanboys.

I'm closing this because we don't need to advertise one mod in the other mods subsection when they are both part of the same forum.
