Popularity of PR
Is the number of players in PR right now average, low, or high? This past week there's generally been 2 full/nearly full 64 player servers and 2 or 3 servers with like 5-20 people. Is there more on the weekends?

It really depends, it's been kind of low these past few weeks. Maybe during the summer it'll pick up or when we do release a new version in the future.

Player numbers are pretty steady and level currently, a bit of a peak around PR:Vs release and still above what it was before its release.

It fluctuates quite a bit but the changes aren't sudden. Comparative to a few years ago numbers are very low. Players that were real heavy types tended to drop off and find other games - especially after the rally point changes which really saw polarized opinions. At least it certainly did in the Australian community which saw a full server (sometimes two) daily, going down to struggling to hit 30.
Then there is the whole exam/school cycle which happens annually. TG has been having number issues for weeks now as have a few others, but this can really Chang anytime.

Once finals are done we'll probably see more folks online. Summer sound really good right now.

Re: Popularity of PR
Compared to a few years ago its very very low.I played constantly for years but I frankly don't like this version very much,to much walking miles just to get shot and have to do it over again,to many god weapons and COD like accuracy also.I still play sometimes though although I'm not a big fan of the servers available either.Would like to see more maps played not just the same 3 over and over.
Thats my reason but reasons vary. Will take some big changes/reverts to make me play like I used to again, one can only hope.

I see what you are saying. Servers could change all the maps they cycle and put out new ones once every week.Trooper909 wrote:Compared to a few years ago its very very low.I played constantly for years but I frankly don't like this version very much,to much walking miles just to get shot and have to do it over again,to many god weapons and COD like accuracy also.I still play sometimes though although I'm not a big fan of the servers available either.Would like to see more maps played not just the same 3 over and over.

You can also see on the kill counts at the end of the rounds that it's too low.
Although I still play as I do as there are no alternatives better in any way.

reminds me of the classic joke
anyhows.. o/tO'Reilly was sitting in a bar and he goes to the bartender
"You see that church over there? I built it with my bare hands but do they call me O'Reilly the church builder? Nooo!
You see that school over there? I taught there for 30 years but do they call me O'Reilly the educator? Nooo!
But you fuck one goat...."
low, medium or high.. doesn't really matter right? Personally I prefer playing with players dedicated to the game...
These threads bore me to tears...

Re: Popularity of PR
I just got back into it this past week after not playing in nearly a year. just d/led the map pack since I didn't have it and was d/c from a server. I'm hoping it picks up some this weekend as I found the amount of action server wise to be quite low with only 3 or 4 active with more than 30 players. also, I really wanted to experience PRVietnam and have yet to find a server rotating it.
must say though, this latest version of PR is awesome and runs quite smoothly for me, Thanks to all those that put in the hours of hard work to give us a great gaming experience.
*could someone tell me how I can upload a custom avatar? I didn't see the option "upload from your computer"?
Thank You and see you on the battlefield!

Playercount is something around low to mid. It used to be a lot more but oh well, people are growing sick of it (me included). But thats not the point, I find rather the lack of dedication by the playerbase quite depressing.

You mean similar-to-real life accuracy with serious movement deviation?(plus deviation from mouse movement)
