[Solved] black screen when starting

Hello everyone i just downloaded project reality today after years of waiting i started up with hope and joy in my eyes. But when i started project reality it did nothing but give me a black screen. The patient person i am, i waited for two hours and nothing happened. If anyone knows how to fix this can you please help me? thank you very much

You MUST start vanilla BF2 once, log in to or create a player profile, and join a vanilla BF2 server for BF2 to write your profile settings to the Windows Registry.
While you are in vanilla BF@, go to Options, Video, and set your video options, and specifically your resolution, to the correct settings for your monitor.
Save that,

Then start PR and see if it works.

If still not working you have to add a command line to your PR.exe shortcut, such as:

MaSSive;1759165']First thing to do is to run in windowed mode. Right click your PR shortcut and edit target line so it looks like this.

Don't copy-paste this adjust to your needs. szx 800 and szy 600 are in fact resolution you want to run in windowed mode. Adjust to be less than your max desktop resolution.

If you get any error take screenshot of it if possible and post it here. In windowed mode you will see errors, while it wont output anything in fullscreen. So lets see whats wrong.
