Nice work duck
Something nice is that the city is huge, there are many nice positioning spots in it so it won't be too repetitive, people can be more creative when playing it.

yea cos ive been reading recently how alot of ppl are getting bored of urban maps because they are repetetive and use 'no tactics' I personally didnt get that myslef but I wanna please the ppl so Its gonna be quite freeform. Flags may be further apart fom what were used to and theres gonna be alot of routes to take.

Could you estimate the percentage of how much of your map is finished?

like 95%?

Nice job so far Duckhunt. The map is looking huge and very well layed out and especially "realistic" for an urban map. I really like that you have cover that you can peak over such as in the beginning of the last video. IMO, that is what the maps in PRMM really lack and especially the urban ones. Since the BF2 engine doesn't have lean and Dice f**ked up the crouche prone thing, we really need cover that is able to concile you when you are crouched and then pop up from below to fire.

I really hope that we will get more maps like this for 0.4 and on this scale and layout so that battles will go on for possibly hours and actually feel like battles instead of "deathmatches." Yes, I am kind of making a reference to Armed Assault on this one about the long matches.

Also hope there are even more statics in the city to hide in so it will be a hunnycomb of places to hide in and take firing positions from.

Cheers man, yea im doin me best.

Dont worry if the streets and places look a little bare and empty, ive yet to get to the stage of properly looking at all the places from different angles to lay down the smaller statics for cover.

Hey! You just gave me an idea! I need to add power lines and a marketplace(s) to my map to make it more realistic! That's what I was missing. That and my grass looks weird...

New Screens in OP

Its looking pretty sweet now, Ive started adding bits of cover in the main streets and its gonna make for some pretty intense firefights. If you see the 5th screen down thats this cool little bit where you can hop up on junk over this wall and break through into the back of the facility to take the flag. Its slowly looking more and more run down and 'alive' which im pleased with. Il keep ya updated
