Russian Anti-tank missile 9M133 kornet-E's thermal

Post by =SAGA=Ura »

I have just watched a video about it and found it's thermal image should be black and white. It is green in PR, so can you fix it in PR 1.0?

HJ-8 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I do believe, if you are refering to the stationary Firebase emplacement, that it is the HJ-8 (temporary placeholder for Russian faction's AT armament).

You mean Russian Forces is using Chinese HJ8 as their stationary Anti-tank in PR?

A little be off-topic, Russian Forces is using a quiet different way in battle?

Its a place holder until someone makes a proper deplorable AT for the Russians.... The MEC shouldn't be using the HJ-8 either but they are.

oh ye forgot that one, even thou I was the one who implemented it :p

They use to use the HJ-8, before the Milan :p

Well if you still want an example, Brits shouldn't be using the TOW :p

Would like to see Javelin in PR:BF2, but it might affect game balance... :-(

Ye, we use to use the MILAN, which is the deployable AT for the Brits in PR:F, but now the Javelin has basically replaced it and we don't really have a stationary AT anymore as the Javelin dose the same job, but is more flexible :p

Maybe creating a stationary Javelin, but not on tripod, when there is nobody using it, the Javelin is on the ground and when someone get inside it appear with the soldier that is using it.

Shouldn't the British be using the MILAN instead of the M220 then?

The UK variant of the Javelin does have a tripod available.

They shouldn't be using anything. :p Unless it's a Javelin on a tripod.

It'd still be fire and forget, so nope.

So is the SRAW in real-life, so I don't really see the problem. The gameplay is what matters, so they can just make it controllable, but don't include the fire and forget mode. Let the missile reach a peak altitude of 100 meters before the guiding activates and it starts moving towards whatever you're aiming at.

It isn't guided in game and should never be, nor should the Javelin be added because it only has two settings and both are guided. Considering the amount of references to it in other video games and in current conflicts it would be stupid to have it in game otherwise.

All that side it would've been in game year ago if it held any water. The huge discussion thread on it circa 2010 established that.

For gameplay's sake they need a TOW emplacement, and since their last one was the MILAN and not the M220 they should have the MILAN. Hmm, or maybe give them an extra HAT kit instead.

Do they also need a mobile ATGM vehicle for gameplay's sake? They seem to be getting along fine without it.
