[Solved] alot of lag

hi all,first sorry for my bad english

i played PROJECT REALITY like 5 months ago ,and it was very good no lag at all server

then i had to uninstall it ,but 2 days ago i installed it again ,with Vietnam beta this time


but the first problem happend when i refreshed the servers so i can join ,but it didnt show alot of servers..and when i play a server it be lagging alot ,and sometimes it be not lag

for few sec then lag back ,due my ping be good then it go very hight then it go down again

very fast,so i cant have the same ping ,it can jump from 80 to 200 in 1 sec

my internet works really good and fast ,i played other online games but it doesnt lag

my pc is good i can run battlefield 3 on it in hight ,but idk what the problem

and when i click join server it say conntion to server has been lost,then i have to click again so i can join

Please do not post multiple times in a row, and bump topics in less than 24 hours period multiple times. If you have anything to add use EDIT button.

Now if you dont have high ping in other games, but just in BF2 R that can mean that either your firewall is blocking some of the ports game is using or punkbuster might have same problems.

List of ports BF2 uses and which are required to be open in firewall. Make sure BF2 is allowed trough software firewalls on your PC, and that ports are forwarded in your router. Make sure punkbuster services are allowed trough firewall. Run PBSVC and do test and post its results.

Disable, or turn off any background applications when playing, cleanup your PC and defragment it. Do you use any kind of wireless?

Post your system configuration with OS version.

The first time when you try to connect and it fails, this is a PB issue due to the latest update. It is normal you can't do anything.

For the lag, have you try to defrag your HDD (before installing BF2+PRupdate+vietnam)?

For the small list of server, look at PR spy if you see the same or not : Project Reality - PRSPY - Server and player browser and tracker - Create a buddy list - Launch PR directly
If not, you got a problem with PR version

Yes that is correct version. 1.5.3153-802.0 or patched to 1.5

Thanks you guys ,now it works good ,i dont lag alot ,just normal lag rare,but the game now is same when i was playing it few months ago
