Favorite Map that never gets played?

Some of us, (Like Me) have favorite maps that never, ever get played on any populated servers. What are yours?

Mine would have to be Iron Eagle and Qinling for AAS and Korengal Valley for Ins.

Battle for Quinling. needs to be played wayyy more. i wouldnt say its the best map, but it gives me a sense of nostalgia from back in .85, easily my favourite map

Heh? Iron Eagle and Korengal are actually played quite often on the CIA server. Qinling usually kills servers because it is too harsh on infantry, it's a very wide open map.

Would love to see the servers running them more often...its just sad when player leave because of maps they dislike.

to be fair though bloody, it is a game, if you dont get any fun from playing a particular map then you dont really want to play it, i do agree that some of the best maps are underplayed in favour of some that promote easier gameplay. I think that Kashan 16 is underplayed, maybe the playerbase isnt like what it used to be so it wouldnt be as good but i still remember some of my best games on this layer.

Ofcourse you are right but we all got some good memories from specific maps. Any map can be very fun to play, it depends on the team and sq members

Indeed, yet a bit of variety wouldn't hurt. Siege at Ochamchira (or whatever), is not one of the best maps, it has flaws, yet it's very fun to play and the few time I've played it, I enjoyed it a lot. Same goes for Korengal, a small and bloody unbalanced map but with incredibly intense firefights, which make so much fun that you can really give damn about your team losing.

The list goes one from Qinling, over Gaza to Yamalia.

Another thing Real already broached, are the various layers featured on all maps. When was the last time you've played Kashan 16, Qinling 16, Gaza AAS, etc? People are way too conservative and like to live in their glass jar, instead of using all the potential we have with the various layers. I mean, Kashan 16 for example is great, you have a big map with enough room to maneuver, without overwhelming the infantry with assets. Too bad the common attitude is "No assets = BOOORRRING!".

And CnC, my god, so much potential lies there but again, most of the playerbase can't do shit without arrows and markers pointing them to their target. They already have trouble staying near the flags on bigger maps....

First the playerbase must improve skill wise before playing certain new maps since new maps are often harder to play for rookies then the classic map.

It seems that almost noone want to play maps in CnC mode.
Only fixed rotation can help us

CnC is awesome when playing with proper teams. We played it few times in finnish community mumble nights and it was one of the best pr experiences i have. But with random public server its most horrible thing you can have usualy. Shame that vehiclewarfare is not played in public server, that could be great fun.

Anyway my favorite map/layer which gets never played is definetly ocharmarchira, qinlinq, barracuda inf and most of the maps which have inf layer. Servers should put sometimes inf/alt layer instead of std for change

Shijia Cnc would be so awesome, mby someone could organize event for some proper CnC
