skirmish might be good when you have less than 20players but after that you want to get players on your server, and people wants to play PR - full size. And every map might not be a good idea. Every layer on every map is out of the question.

I'm sorry if I came across too rude but that post was just laughable.

You seem to be rather the exception of the PR playerbase and as such rules and standards shouldn't fit your ideas.

To be honest your last posts sounded like this; Whatever they say, I have the right opinion so they should all obey me.

Think about it, with ~10 people, do you rather play a nice and small skirmish, or full size Kashan? Pick your choice. (Saying Kashan, because you tab-out anyway doesn't count, as you could do the same on a skirmish map).

Have you guys seen the server name yet?

]CIA[ # Why So Serious Pants?

No one else came up with a better name than Coyote, I like it alot.

Anyway, in the spirit of giving this server to the community, there is a pound sign/hashtag is on this server. Pound's of PR, eat your heart out.

The reason why you'd have an event night is to increase the gameplay by better teamwork. A PR-player that doesn't care about this does most likely not care about entering the server's website to see what the password is. However, a teamwork-orientated PR-player that enjoys having this will be willing to enter the website to find out what the password is and then join the server. Ergo; putting a password on the server while running an event increases the type of gameplay that the majority of this community wants - better coordination, communication and teamwork.
I actually find that bs. I like some may want to play an event but i'm not going to the website just to get the password, i'll just go elsewhere seeing as it;s not the only server.

You need to stop flaming because you've got a problem, take it elsewhere.

Just because i'm not you with the immense ego dosen't mean i'm not up to par. Nor should you be flaming everyone on this forum when it's about a server, not your personal drama.

Saying you are too "lazy" to check a website for a PW, which takes roughly seen 1-2 minutes of your precious life, does not mirror the best mentality and dedication good PR players have. Get over yourself.

TG had a great success with it and almost every single PW night was a blast, don't see any reason why that shouldn't be true for this server too.

I have no reason to sign up on a website & for one event which I do not care about when I can join a number of other servers just to get in and play, not all of us are isolationist. This isn't about the best players bud. How about you get over it and get on topic.

The conversation's over.

What?! He didn't say anything about signing up for events. TGs password events was very well thought through, you had the pw in the rules thread which meant that only players who were regulars/read the rules could join the server for a better game. The admins would also had less work since the majority of the players would behave. I don't care if you do it for this server. The point is to have a good games with some SERIOUS PANTS PLAYERS.

Mis worded that as I was in a hurry what I meant was sign up for the website.

While that's great and everything for people that like to do that I prefer to just pub & meet new people. Hopefully finding people who work together & actually trying to improve their experience/mine. That's just me.

Sometime's I Like to command without having to sign up for some of the passworded events that DO require sign ups to. I'm just not into that stuff, so a non passworded event would be nice every once in a while. The "Closed door" approach alienates/turns off some people., specifically the new ones. I'm sure you guys would live through the horror of a couple non passworded events every now and then.

Of course, I have nothing against public events, but sometimes you can't just do that. For example, a zombie or a scenario event.

Which means that you're not willing to take the one extra, yet small, step to have a better game with better players.

Where do you think you're going to find people working together and improving your experience? At a locked server running an event, maybe?

With your "Better" players. I'd rather play with random people and have a few laughs and enjoy the game. Not everyone wants to have to go outside the game to sign up on someones website which they'll never go to just for passwords & such. That's similar to the arguement people have with origin they just want to play the game, not have to do thing's which have nothing to do with the game just to play.

I'm all for playing with random people/new kids if it means not having to go through some of the thing's i've experienced. Passworded events are great like I said, just not for everyone.

Funny you should post that jimmy that picture is my TS3 avatar.

Nope that actually ruins my experience close to everytime i've done it. I usually meet higher quality people just playing with random new comers. That's just my experience.

Some of the best people i've ever known, met or trained were actually just random people on a random server I met. Some of the best people in the community itself also happen to just not like passworded events, that's just preference.

You're obviously not a PR player that appreciates teamwork, orientation and communication then.

You're obviously jumping to conclusions as usual & don't know what you're talking about. Being such how about we go back to on topic & you get some facts before making accusations.

I'd say I do know enough about it to state conclusions. You clearly said that you're not willing to get on a website to find the password of a server to join it. Considering a closed server does have better teamwork etc. it's clear that you're not interested in such type of game-play, which then again means that you don't care about aforementioned.

I'd say you don't. So are we going to keep riding the flame Ice bus or discuss something pertaining to the server?

Working toward teamwork on one server where you think "i'm the best" vs going to multiple servers & trying to get teamwork going dosen't benefit the community as a whole.

So since you among other think you're the best tell me how you promote teamwork, communication etc. across other servers. I'm all ears.
