Learning to fly

Post by larmannjan »

I want to learn to fly in co-op against bots but i always get shot down in now time even if i deploy flares when i let a bot pilot he lasts longer but his flying is ****. Is there a way to give but 0 skill ir make them not operate AA weapons? I want to play with bots because they are targets, better than nothing.

Play on a map where only your team has air assets. Al Basrah for example.

The problem about the public training-servers is the other players. They're not respecting that people are actually trying to learn how to fly and they'll just shoot you down. You should just set up your own local server with a map that includes air-assets and start flying. Just think of a scenario and work on it. Extractions, supply-drops, flying low, diving, evading AA (flares), etc.

You talking about fixed or rotary here? Cause I can give some pointers on helicopters, but I'm nigh on useless with jets/CAS

well i am flying versus bots or also tk my own bots because they make easier targets for a couple of reasons, they dom't care, they are visible on map, the don't shoot back.

Locking. OP, if you have any further questions regarding flying, PM me and I'll reopen, otherwise I believe this thread has pretty much served its purpose and is now used for discussing music rather than the topic...

Pink Floyd ftw, though
