Ice and Sax, would you please both refrain from posting in this thread for a while, I don't want this to get locked by a mod who is having a bad day.

I guess our opinions make us non-teamplayers.

Now THAT is some bullshit.

Guys, don't post if you don't like the initiative and stop arguing like little boys, seriously.

No problem with the initiative I just had an opinion about the locked events & was backing someone elses opinion up with my own. People took it grossly out of perspective.

Opinion of a certain matter is not the problem, opinions of people with opinions, usually contrary, is the problem.

Regardless, Chrisweb is expected to soon announce the launch date of the server.

Stay tuned, and don't forget to press your serious pants.

I know for, instance, that NEW and Merk memebers help out other servers for seeding etc. when they see they have trouble, even if their server remains empty because of that. What I'm implying at, is the lack of dedication NwA members show to help out other servers (and they are not alone by far), and work as a kickstarter for saying. This is the wrong kind of mentality, which goes against ace's idea and the whole concept of this community. I don't like that attitude and sealed off behavior.

Edit: Also, I saw many times one team literally being composed of NwA members, if that doesn't mean they could play on another server, then you fail to recognize a simple fact.
hey buddy just wandering why the mud throwing going on. when MERK got there server up NwA guys used to play and help seed there because they show us the same respect back why would we spend our time seeding other peoples servers that just like to throw mud at us for the reason we have 2 servers running ??
Orford wrote:Another mighty UK based clan is making a solid effort to get there server running. Unlike others they are putting the hard effort into seeding from early in the morning to get there server populated.

So can I ask that we don't seed the second server until Merk has reached good numbers on there's. If there doing the effort and trying to run a server lets give them a hand and not hoover up all the EU players over both of the NwA server.

Only asking to give them a hour or so before we get our 2nd server going.

I don't know everything thats going on on the forums. I missed that statement by Orford and I apologize for being too harsh in my previous post, yet my opinion stands, as it IS true that NwA is the most isolated clan in the EU (among the popular servers ofc).

However, I did exaggerate in my previous post and see now that it wasn't right towards you as a whole.

Fact is you can argue all you want, at the end of the day a decision is going to be made and your opinion goes right over your shoulder. :)

please no offence against anyone :) )
but the most players dont check out everyday before they start gaming if a event is going on !
they just join a server that seems to be active or whatever and game on...
When you see a Password on a server and 40 people playing on it or whatever... you are gonna ask yourself wauw is that a clanwar ? a event i can join ? a place where i can meet other REALITY gamers...
A server and one day with more then you can expect :) ))

if you dont have an password on a EVENT NIGHT.... Random people are joining the game without even knowing its a EVENT NIGHT... and then starts all the questions and shizzle...

so if you guys ask me ???? this server was SETUP because TACTICALGAMER.COM went down...

How did TACTICALGAMER do it with EVENTS..... a password :) )) that's how its gonna work :)
but first off all we need to get the server active :) well see later ICE !
if you want some tactical reality game ? just go check the PW quick... or join another server where you can do whatever you want 2 do :)

I avoid password events, I was just backing someone else's opinion on the subject. Passworded events aren't my thing.

Easily fixed by modifying the name to reflect the event. "[CIA] Public Skirmish Event!" or something along those lines would be clear enough.

But, it doesn't even matter to me, I was just trying to give feedback. I'll still play on the server no matter what they decide. And maybe even check a site for a password. I just know that if I feel this way about password events, there will be others that feel the same. If we just go by what the majority of the forum regulars say, we're going to end up with a biased view of what people want, since a lot of the community aren't reading these daily like some of us.

People overlook PW written down in the name of the server, you really think they would care about the name of a server? Never underestimate human ignorance.

Yes Brainlaag everyone who doesn't frequent every PR community's forums are the scum of the earth and are the thing that is ruining PR servers. Not only can they not read server titles, they are lone wolfing, non-teamworking COD kids, with no microphone and mumble. Because let's face it, forum browsing and in-game behaviors go hand in hand.

Wish I got my points across in a simple manner more often.

Sometimes even the ruleset is changed because of said event (like Tekno/Oskar ones). Sign ups are appropriate for the COs to give the plan to SLs beforehand. And for that to happen, they need to pw the server to make sure people know what they're signing up/joining in for.

If you knew how much work it takes to organize everything at the beginning of each event, then you would realize that having a lot of misinformed people would be a total mess up.

Everything is simple until you're an admin.

Why were TG pass nights so good? Because you had to do some searching on the forums to get the password. So people who wanted to play played, people who were there for a purpose, not just anybody. Like when there is a band playing. If its a known band and entry fee is 5?, everybody will show up to drink beer and have a good time, not giving a fuck to the band most of the time. If the entry fee is 50?, people come to listen. Same with PR. WHen there is something to be done other than just come, you get those who really want it.

'

Finally you got my point :p No need to become ironic because 90% of the cases it's exactly like that.

I had a lot of fun on the "[CIA] Why so serious?" server last night. Perhaps a bit too much voting at times, but it was more enjoyable than other server I have been using lately.
