Its really not an intensive program in my opinion.

My rig is kind of ****.
AMD Athlon II x2 240 (2.8 GHz dual-core)
3 GB RAM
GPU 256 MB integrated nVidia 6150 SE
5400 RPM hard drive (500 GB)
Everything is on lowest and I'm playing 800x600 on a 1366x768 monitor with only view distance as 100%.

Umm I got Atlon II x2 250 OCed to 3,6Ghz 4GB of RAM ( dual unganged ), GTS450 512MB gddr5 OCed so its all sweat, and a 7200rpm drive running all on max with 4x AA.reozm wrote:My rig is kind of ****.

So the point is, get a better hard drive and a real graphic card with at least 512Mb and youre good.
PS: I can run on max without OC, but I do OC cause of Arma2.

Back when my processor wasn't dying like a mule. And i'd first received my 5750, I could get everything on high at 120+ FPS but... for some reason it'd crash.

It is nice to play on high settings, but it is harder to spot enemies, especially if you have anti-aliasing.

i usually run graphics high but the dust or heaps of grass makes the game lag.

Re: [New for 2011!] Which level of graphics settings do you play?
My rig is not a common one, but
iMac 2011
ATI Radeon HD 5670
Intel Core i5 680 @ 3.60GHz (4 CPUs)
4GB RAM
7200 RPM Drive (500 GB)
All Settings are on 'High'. Gameplay is smooth, but one graphical glitch. There was one instant where at a distance, you could see through buildings and rocks, which put me at an advantage of seeing the enemy behind cover, or walking through a road. That happened rarely.
There's also one where very rarely I could see a black square around the binoculars, but it seems like a bug.
Also, when any class wields an AK-weapon and moves when aiming, the thumb slides back, then resets.
Best Tip for upgrading: Get a Solid State Drive. It may be expensive, but it's worth it. Faster boot times, faster processing of data, faster and better in general.
