How can you start PR using the steam version of BF2?
I bought the steam version on sale today and now it's installing, but I would like to know if there is some problem with the steam version, and how to solve them before making some mistake etc... Hope you will help me, regards.

Download BF2 from steam.
Verify the steam cache.
install BF2.
Run BF2 once, log in to existing account or create a new account, join an online server for a few minutes.
This is a good time to adjust your video and audio settings.
Shutdown BF2.
Download PR 0.973 parts 1, 2, and 3.
Install PR AS AN ADMIN.
A new PR shortcut should appear on desktop, start PR AS AN ADMIN.
And have fun on the killing fields.
Verify the steam cache.

But there's no need of 1.41 and 1.5? Because I'm doing everything in the correct order because I don't want the risk to reinstall everything.

Re: Project reality using BF2 Steam version
Steam patches game automatically so there is no need for downloading and installing patches. Still you should run BF2 and make sure it runs properly before you attempt to install and run PR. If core game does not run properly neither mod will ( any not just PR ).
Before you do anything first see if problem still exists. Do not download and install anything before you do that.'[R-COM wrote:MaSSive;1796947']Anyway there was a problem with Steam version of BF2, so if its still ongoing look here for solution.

Re: Project reality using BF2 Steam version
Too late, installed the two patches and two of three parts of the mod...
