[Maps] Heightmap not working properly in BF2

I have a .raw 1024x1024 16 bit greyscale heightmap and am not sure how to get it working properly in bf2, I have tried it on a 512x2 and 1024x2 map but doesnt work properly on either. can anyone help please?

On 512x512 it looks like the mapsize is too small for the heightmap
On 1024x2 you can see the layout of the heightmap but the features are far smaller than they should be.

The .raw file is 2MB which is the same as a 1024x2 map's but I am not sure why the features are so much smaller than they should be.

Try to tweak maximum height in editor, see if it helps.

sure its not the max height ? have you tried a high value like 4.0002 or sth like this ?
