Windows 7 32-bit Crash
Hey guys I am using Windows 7 32-bit 4GB ram installed(maxed out) with plenty of space on my hard drive and a ATI Radeon HD 2400 series video card. My issue is ever since I installed PR with the latest patches and all I can get maybe one game in before it crashes me back to my desktop. I run in optimal settings with everything at medium ( I had everything in High and it worked fine, but figured if I switched to medium it might resolve my issue). Anyone have any suggestions? BF2 works flawlessly as I can play multiple games with no crash issues. So it has to be a PR problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Windows 7 32-bit Crash
I was having my ram maxxed out when I was running 32-bit. It was then that I questioned why I was using 32-bit in the first place. I reinstalled to 64-bit and have not looked back.

That's funny that you say that, I believe that was what was causing my issue. It was over 1 million at one point. I tweaked my video settings and enabled an overdrive and it has seemed to help.SnipeHunt wrote:I was having my ram maxxed out when I was running 32-bit. There is only one unforgivable lie That is the lie that says, This is the end, you are the conqueror, you have achieved it and now all that remains is to build walls higher and shelter behind them. Now, the lie says, the world is safe.? The Great Khan.

Thanks. I ended up tweaking my video settings and it has seemed to help. I can play multiple games now. Must have been over heating my video card or something and was causing it to crash. Now I just get random "There is an issue with your connection" every now and then.karambaitos wrote:do this

Why not reinstall to 64-bit?Irish614 wrote:That's funny that you say that, I believe that was what was causing my issue. It was over 1 million at one point. I tweaked my video settings and enabled an overdrive and it has seemed to help.

Re: Windows 7 32-bit Crash
You can reinstall to the 64-bit OS with the same serial key.. search how to de-authorize the current install first.
This is all assuming you have a 64-bit processor/hardware
