I haven't played BF2 much lately and i was considering about reinstalling it, but i was wondering if people still play PR like they use too? Sorry for the stupid question haha.

There are still a lot servers online, check out PRSpy: Project Reality - PRSPY - Server and player browser and tracker - Create a buddy list - Launch PR directly
So yeah, it's definitely worth it

I also recommend to check out Mumble, http://realitymod.com/mumble. Thats a third party voice communication tool which pretty much every server uses instead of voip.

Yeah, go for it. There are perhaps not as many servers and players as some time ago, but there's still a few populated servers at any time. Typically PRTA and NwA for Euro times, CIA and HOG for American times, these make for good choices.

And definitely install the latest Mumble. It's completely automated when using it in PR, and should in my opinion be an official part of PR, as it improves the gameplay experience quite dramatically.

Well, I see that you are american, so you should have 2 servers to play on, and if your internet isn't from stone-age then you should also be able to play on another 3 european servers to play on. So practicaly, you will find a servers to play on 24/7

There is only one thing being worst than the deviation we have right now, the one from 0.85 *shivers*. BUT I have to say some of my best rounds were on newley released Muttrah V2 in 0.85, LB + LMG + HAT = uberepicrapefest.
