660Ti will cover mainstream place where its predecessor 560Ti did. It is the same 670, only with mem bus 192 bit. I was skeptical about that bus, BUT, looking at early benchmarks, I take my words back, its good, out performs 580 like nothing.

The price tag for it will be around 300$ bucks and look for aftermarket coolers. ASUS already have one set and ready ;) The card will be released on 15th or 16th of August ;)

If you wait long enough a copy of WIN7 will probably include a free upgrade to 8 when it gets here. That is what Microsoft did with Vista when WIN7 was coming out.
Best line yet...

Microsoft Details Windows 8 Upgrade Plans

A $15 upgrade, although not necessary as windows 7 will be more user friendly for desktop users without touchscreens tbh...

Windows 8 will be fine as it has the option to go back to the original desktop layout, quite frankly though its running on a damn near identicly kernal as Windows 7, most of the updates to 7 have brought it nearly on par with what they are doing with 8... personal preference is the name of the game i think.
