I made a thread about this awhile ago, and still haven't found a solution
thread here: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... inked.html
Since i haven't found a solution and apparently nothing suggested in that thread worked, I was wondering if anyone knew any solutions that could solve my problem now
Basically, PR Mumble does not link no matter what server I join. I can hear everyone whether they talk in squad chat or wherever they are on the map. I run as admin before i start pr and I have tried re-installing completely and still doesn't work. I even deleted my movies files and re-installed them as well and didn't work. I'm sure i did more that I can't remember at the moment but I'm pretty desperate to fix this, so any suggestions are appreciated

Re: PR Mumble wont link
Hi Ramzey,
I read the prior thread as it happened, and [R-COM]MaSSive and I usually offer the same solutions for PRMumble problems.
Let's be more thorough this time.
Please tell us your OS, is it 32 or 64 bit?
Did you install vanilla BF2 using a Windows Administrator Account?
Did you install PR using a Windows Administrator Account?
Did you install PRMumble using a Windows Administrator Account?
What Anti-Virus, firewall etc are you running?
Do you have a G15 keyboard, or any of the G35 , Gxx keyboards?
DO you have Creative X-Fi audio card?
Are you running any other programs in the background, MSI afterburner, or any other gaming related programs?
My guess:
The basic problem is a conflict in user permissions between (PR.exe and BF2.exe) and PRmumble .
Generally we offer up the solution that Massive gave you, to simply delete everything from PRMumble and uninstall and reinstall PRMumble, since it's easiest and it's quick to reinstall.
I know it's been 2 months, but did you do this in the following steps:
1. Uninstall PRMumble
2. go to appdata and delete the Mumble folder Yourname>Appdata>Roaming> find Mumble folder there and delete it.
3. Follow the directions in the post below this one.
4. REboot
4. Reinstall PRMumble
Very important to reboot.

Re: PR Mumble wont link
SO there is some random crumbs left in the registry that are missed by the Mumble uninstaller. This will find and delete them, using CCleaner. Remember to reboot before reinstalling PRMumble.
'[R-COM wrote:LITOralis.nMd;1735283']How to completely uninstall PRMumble 1.0 Beta 4
Here is how to completely uninstall PRMumble 1.0 Beta 4
PR TECH SUPPORT CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING SUGGESTION. Altering the Windows Registry can cause Windows to cease functioning properly, causes various errors, or brick the Windows installation.
Taking a Chainsaw to ALL PRmumble entries in Windows Registry.
FIrst a note, as per the Mumble FAQ, Mumble has no kernel components, source FAQ/English - Mumble.
Uninstall the older PRMUmble 0.5 beta, uninstall PRMumble 1.0, (and uninstall any other Mumble versions installed.)
Uninstall PRMumble in Control Panel preferably.
Start command prompt and type "%appdata%" in it (without quotes) and press Enter. It should open YourUsername>AppData>Roaming directory. Then you can delete the complete Mumble(PR Edition) folder.
Then backup your registry inside RegEdit or your registry editor of choice. Directions to do this inside RegEdit: Back up the registry
Download and install CCleaner from Piriform: CCleaner - Download
Directions for the following steps from Piriform: CCleaner - Registry cleaning
ALWAYS backup your registry inside CCLeaner when prompted!!!.
then use CCleaner and get rid of registry errors related to Mumble,
Open Regedit again.
then search through your registry in RegEdit (In Menu, Edit->Find, or Ctrl-F ) Use search term: Mumble .
and delete everything (except the uninstaller entries) related to PRMumble and Mumble.
Then reinstall PRMumble.
That's what I call taking a chainsaw to a chopstick.

Re: PR Mumble wont link
I'm using Windows 7 64bit
I installed BF2, PR, and PR Mumble logged in on a windows administrator account
(My BF2 is the steam version)
I use Webroot for my anti-virus software
I do not have any type of Gxx keyboard and my audio card is not Creative X-Fi
When i followed the steps you posted for re-installing mumble, once i installed it again after rebooting, it automatically had my name put into mumble that i'd used before, but all my settings and shortcuts were put back to default and I had to accept the certificate. I don't know if that means i didn't uninstall it correctly, but it still didn't work.

Re: PR Mumble wont link
Have you tried simply changing your PRMumble name to Ramzey125_2 or something similar, just to test it?
Do you have PRMumble overlay turned on ? Is it working correctly?
You are sure the intro video for PR is installed correctly? You downloaded it from BloddyDeed's link or used your original?
I am now stumped.
Seeing as you have properly reinstalled PRMumble and are now with a standard out of the box installation, I'd leave PRmumble alone until I get get some otrher people to chime in with suggestions.

Re: PR Mumble wont link
Ok, well I didnt have my mumble overlay turned on, so I decided to enable it and see if it worked then, but I when i started project reality it stopped responding when loading. So then I turned the overlay off, it started normally without crashes. Could this be the source of the problem, or is this something completely different?
EDIT: Also, changing my name in mumble didn't work, and I've re-installed my intro movies and it didn't work either
