PR:BF2 Map book

Post by Chaosfox_[434th] »

In the map list thread in this form someone linked a map book that someone had made. that map book is a little outdated. Can any of the devs tell me if it would be ok for me to make a new updated map book for the community? if I am allowed do you know of anyone that could supply me with some good cover art for the document?

????????????????
how r they not the same bro......
you click on the map you want to look at
click on detailed overview
click on the map itself to enlarge it
you can even right click on the map and save it to your computer....
what more do you want?
the first link i provided you is 100x better than the link you provided IMO

anderson both of the ones you linked have stuff over the maps the map book is just to be the minimap as it is in the maps files with nothing on it so anyone can print it out and laminate the maps to use dry erase markers on them if they want for mapping out things or for a clan to use to strategize easier. the map book has a different purpose then what you linked.what you linked is for players to get a clearer understanding of what the map boundries are and where possible flag locations are, the book is more of a strategic aid.

TBONE, use any of the methods in this link to download all the images in the Image Gallery,
How To Download All Files From a Folder on a Website or FTP

then edit your map book as you like.

oh, well if your trying to do that why not just load up a local server and take a screen shot of all the mini maps, go into MS paint, crop, save, print, and win.

anderson do you not fully read my posts? I said that i will be using te minimaps exactly as they appear in the map files. Which means I have located in the minimap files in the map folders and they are just the minimap that has nothing on it so there are no markings on them no flags no vehicle markers nothing.

oh yeah, you clearly state that you will be using the mini maps in the map's folder in post #9. my bad, just trying to help you out. good luck with those mini maps in the map's folder, the dry erase markers & with your strategic aid.

You might want to wait until v1.0 comes out as some of the minimaps will change.

If you don't want to wait, then have at it. You don't need our blessing as long as you don't alter the core map or take credit for work that someone else did.
