Login Bug

Hey Guys,
I have a issue with the login hope you can help me.

I was playing NWA Kokan and switched to Desktop on the mapchange. Then I went back to the game. I have an issue with my usb keyboard which was plugged in through a hub. It stopped functioning so I was forced to restart my computer manually. When I tried to rejoin PR it went to the regular Login screen, but where it is supposed to show my login name it just says "offline" . So I cant put my username and pw in and there is no connect button. Also the resolution is very low. Something like 640x480.

This is what I?ve done so far and nothing changed:
-restarted about 100 times
-changed my resolution lower higher...
-turned off my 2nd screen
-relocated the usb connection to the keyboard
-took out my graphics board cleaned everything.
-deleted the mod cache
-tried to log into bf2 .... same thing

Anyone any clue what to do other than reinstall?

This might be a unique bug, congrats for finding it.

Try this.
Start vanilla BF2, create a new log in ID.
Try to join an online server with the new login ID.
Adjust your video settings in Vanilla BF2.
Shut down vanilla BF2.
Start PR,
try to log in to PR with new ID.
Try to join an online PR server with the new ID.

it works! Got a new user id.... thanks alot mate!!! you saved me from hours of painfull reinstalling
