undo a map marker how

Post by Pesticide »

Sometimes the radio puts markers on the map in ludicrous places even dow i am looking right at the spot and set the right distance. Any way to undo that marker that all of a sudden is in the middle of the ocean or 500m off target :D

To make sure the marker ends up where you want it, make sure you step a few times in that direction (not just look in that direction). I know it's weird, but if you were walking one way and then turn to place a marker, it will still project out in the direction you were walking last.

Tap W/S before placing the marker.

If you want to erase a marker, simply place a new marker wherever you want to put this new marker, and mark that position three times on top of each other. This will remove the previous, unwanted marker since you can only have 3 markers up simultaniously.

This.

It will look a bit spammy for a sec, but it's the only way for you as SL to "delete" the marker. Commander can delete his own placed markers, but I don't know if he can delete other people placed markers.
And, yeah, to place a marker precisely, do move a bit forward/backward/left/right after dialing in the range (of course, looking directly at the marker's direction).
