PR Mumble

When I install PR Mumble, the positional audio is automatically selected, but when the test is played, the positional audio doesnt take effect... when i join a game, i can hear every squad talking in mumble and no positional audio... ive tried reinstalling it and it fixed it for one game, but now when i reinstall it doesnt make any difference... help?

Install PRMumble with a windows user account with admin privileges.
Start PRmumble with Admin rights.
Start PR with Admin rights.

Use winXP SP3 compatibility mode for PRMumble, it "solves" these types of problems.

Here are directions to completely uninstall PRMumble:

Ok. Try this.

Uninstall mumble, and delete its configs. Easiest way is to use Win+R and type "%appdata%" and press enter.

It will open "C:\Users\*YOU*\AppData\Roaming"

Now lookup for folder named Mumble there and delete it. Reboot and do registry cleanup after that. ( CC Cleaner ie. )

Once you reboot install mumble again BUT make sure you right click on installer and check all on compatibiity tab except "Run in 256 colors" and "Run in 640x480 resolution". Use XP SP3 compatibility mode.

Run installer and when it prompts to start and run audio wizard shut it down. Find mumble icon and go to compatibility tab again. ( Remember do this on mumble shortcut now not the installer )

Check run as administrator there and Run is XP SP3 compatibility mode, nothing else!

Now you can start it and go trough audio wizard, make sure you follow instructions in this thread.

Let us know if its fixed after that.
