The having more transport heli's I thought would be an obvious answer. For transport! Infantry needs to get around of course and it's often key to squad movements.

As for you wanting a realistic battlefield, well tanks/armour/attack heli's aren't part of every battlefield, and even less so on the urban based maps we run. As I say, I like to think we are offering something different to the usual armour/attack heli servers and it's obviously popular. There are plenty other servers for you if you want to sit in a tank/attack heli. :-D
For what I know there are atleast to servers who supports No Armour

Yeah, it's good to see more servers running the no armour thing. Now all we need is more players to fill them!

Why is it that I cannot see the iGi server anymore in the Battlefield 2 browser? It has been this way since yesterday?

Good games yesterday Shining. Nice to have a squad leader using VOIP to good effect.

Can't say the same about today on Ejod :( When playing as Mec against the USMC it turned out they had around nine support guys on a team of twelve.

We still won anyway despite this happening

well, i liked both of the rounds, even though the first one was far more fun for me (as usmc), allthough my performance in the second round dropped, it was still fun to play (yay, was switched to seconds before "we" won the the loosing side, in the second round... -_-)

Yeah, I had fun last night even if there were a load of support. EJOD is a great map and it seems to somehow remove my annoyance with support. I guess because it is designed so brilliantly, that any class doesn't really have an advantage.

Although contrary to what I've just said I did particularly liked it when I grabbed a support weapon off some dude and wiped out a whole squad with it :)

why I am playing lately in thors server

Post by Batalla35 »

Just wanna explain why Im playing in thors lately...just for two basic things....one is cause the maps...I was a little tired of the IGI maps(on the last months I was playing just on IGI server) and its refreshing to play in other different maps for a while...and second, lately i found a little comunity of spanish players and its easier for us to join in the same team in a 64 slot server...thats all...

anyway I think its very good for the european PRMM comunity to have more no armour servers running...I remember been waiting sometimes almost ten minutes to join IGI server....dont get worried....we all will return to IGI for sure...I will try this night to join iGI with all the spaniards...see you there...

nobody forget you were the first to focus on just infantry battles...

What maps do people want to see on our server?
Remember is it a no armour server so the big maps that depend on planes, tanks and such won't be much fun.
I personally would like to try some 16 player maps.
We've had Gulf of Oman 16 player on the server before and that worked quite well, wondering if maps like Karkand and Sharqui 16 player may work well.
Come over to the Dark Side!
We got sweeties!

very bad idea, 16 player maps are rubbish with 40 players. one map i'd like added is steel thunder.

we are trying to add more maps, whenever BF2CC lets us! not to the rotation maybe, since the other maps aren't brilliant. But for manual selection to break up things and keep us all fresh.
