Win7 windowed mode map not showing up PICS

I have finally got my windowed PR to load into a server but I am having some problems. I am wanting to fix this so I can live stream on twitch.tv so I can attack new members and just have fun with my viewers. and the game has to run in windowed mode to capture video. I know you can use game source if you get the paid version of xsplit but I dont have the moneyz

I put PR into window with this

I use 1920x1080 on my monitor res and 720 ingame bc of FPS issues

1. The menu does not line up. I can work around it if I click a little higher on the item then it will select it, but I dont know if that in game I need to aim higher to or if it is just an menu problem.

2. When I load into a server the ground will not load a texture

3. After Im in the server I right click with my gun to bring up the scope. but the screen goes completely black and I cannot see anything until I right click again and bring down my scope.

The menus misalignment I'm not sure how to fix.

The missing ground texture and black screen is fixable.

To fix ground texture:
Delete the shader cache folder.
You can try to delete your shaders cache and let the game optimize them again. To do this, navigate to My Documents > Battlefield 2 >mods >bf2 and delete cache folder. Run PR and let it optimize shaders again.

The scope black screen is fixable too, but I forgot how. Psyrus, BloodyDeed and probably Massive know this off the top of their heads. Has to do with a setting in nVidia control panel, possibly forced AA.

You might also want to try the "Allow BF2 and PR to use more than 2GB of RAM" trick .

2. /3GB Bootparameter / increaseuserva
Note: Both names describe the same functionality, /3GB on Windows XP, increaseuserva on Windows Vista/7.
Windows divides all your memory (RAM) in Userspace and Kernelspace.
On Windows 32Bit 2 GB are used as Userspace and the remaining 4 GB minus Userspace as Kernelspace.
This means EVERY program can use a maximum of 2 GB RAM.

However, Windows provides a method to increase the Userspace to any value between 2048 (2 GB) and 3072 (3 GB) megabytes in decimal notation.

In comparison a 64Bit operating system usually allows any program to use the full 4 GB, so the following steps are NOT needed if you use Windows 64Bit.
Note: both parameters can cause trouble in case 1 GB kernelspace is not enough. This problem occurs in particular when using an integrated graphic unit (common used in notebooks).

b) Windows Vista/7: How to setup increaseuserva Bootparameter
Navigate to Start>All Programs>Accessories>
Right-click "Command prompt" and choose "Run as administrator"
A command line window should open
Type in "BCDEdit /set increaseuserva 3072" (without quotation marks) (Screenshot)
3072 is the maximum, "2560" or "2816" is in most cases sufficent.
To let the changes take effect restart your computer

Okay I did everything you told me to do, deleting cache folder and changing RAM size and it fixed 1 of two problems! I can now see thru my scope! but I still cannot see the ground like in pic2 The optimitze shaders showed showed up when I loaded in but it did not fix the problem.

I have tried every video setting and compatibility mode you can think of. ground textures still will not load. Altho I loaded into a Falklands server today with windowed mode and the ground texture did load. So I hope with the new pr v1.0 this will be fixed
