Just be happy you got anything at all. We could just give you no information at all until a few days before we release like we normally do :| ..

The majority of these decodings are pretty much on the money (though some are way off, not even close :p ), so it's serves as a good tool to get some information early on about what changes we're making and testing out in the betas (though of course everything is subject to change). And of course we're not going to release an raw closed beta changelog that's not encoded, I mean come on, have a bit of common sense guys...

Anyway, might release another one of these once we get a few builds in :) . Those negative ones in here can just whinge elsewhere, perhaps a ban might help them understand that we couldn't give a damn...

Is that to say there is something akin to a reserve of content that may be released subsequently depending on whether or not the first release is successful?

What's wrong with that again? Either give us the changelog or don't give us the changelog. I resent being treated like your pet. You've actually wasted time on censoring the changelog instead of just publishing it uncensored or not publishing it at all because it's not ready yet. It's pathetic.

Lol, sax, take it easy.

As far as I understood this changelog is only one part and some lines are not up to date. Nevertheless, a few trolling crumbs might be better than none.

I actually much prefer to be teased all along the production process rather than have a shitload of information and goodies dumped on me just before a release, this way the excitement has chance to grow and stays much longer.

Personally I'd have preferred a trickle of actual info like we used to get a few months back in the dev blogs rather than a load of information that we can't decode properly without knowing whether we're right or wrong.

Either way, I look forward to seeing the reaction of the community when we either find out we've got fastropes on trans helis or not, that's gonna cause mass hate toward the devs either way you flip it :D

This won't replace trailer/highlights, so there is nothing to worry about.
See it as additional information. If you don't like it there is no one forcing you to read it.

Dude its the first beta build. Its a changelog that was put out so you can at least try to figure some of the new stuff. You are being mad for nothing (and for such a reason that I wont even bother posting the "heff to be med" video). You are not their pet but neither are you a customer that paid for a product.

All joking aside, It would be nice to get maybe just a few more little teaser pics in the dev blogs, such as the Militia gas masks. Maybe some cleverly angled screens from a new map or two?

You're completely missing my point. They are using extra time censoring a changelog instead of either posting it fully or just not posting it at all. I know there will be a trailer, I know there will be a full changelog, I know this is just the first beta build, I know I haven't paid jack shit for this (actually I've paid a small amount but w/e), but that's not the point.

Actually saxoni, this encrypted changelog took only one dev's time and I suspect he used some kind of automatic system rather than doing it by hand.

Actually you paid money towards running costs, not the mod.

So don't get all pissy

Yes, spending 5 minutes adding a button to a menu, and another 5 minutes writing up a quick post is such a waste my time /sarcasm... Mate, I can spend my time how I please, I actually had a bit of fun doing this. I'm so sorry I had fun :|

We did that in the old days, and I don't remember someone complaining about it. Seems you just didn't get the meaning of teasing, it's what we're doing here, for your great pleasure of course.

You'll get the full changelog just before the release as usual.

In the old days we didn't wait, what? About two YEARS for a patch? Teasing is all about timing, Sax may not want to be teased after such a long period of waiting. I also fail to see why you can't just publish the un-x'd version of it, you really aren't coming across as being funny... Although I am interested in cryptography and find it pretty interesting. It would have been cooler if you had used a complicated cipher.
