Usually I am not coming into this section to complain about bad experiences on servers but today I feel the strong urge that I just have to:

Just coming from the probably worst round of PR ever from the PRTA Europe server.
Pilots not responding to comms, people talking over local mumble way past the 1:30, stupidity that almost earns an "asset-waste-warning", like flying us straight into the ZPUs, flying out of bounds until we all die in the chopper, no administration what so ever, you name it.

Seriously guys, what happened? I know PR gameplay doesn't reach the glorious 0.5 times anymore (that everyone always keeps talking about but I barely see anyone do sth. to get it back) for quite a while now but sth. broke some weeks ago. Since then gameplay is utter shit on almost every server...

Very disappointed and sad!

Voting for Wall-of-Shame in the PR forums!!!

I feel the same way at many times :) It's frustrating. However do you know any way we as server and admin team can improve on that? It's really hard. Every suggestion is welcome. I always try to get Sl's to coordinate. And ofcourse I warn and kick asset wasters/ mumble spammers and so on. I'm sorry you experienced this.

Don't take this the wrong way, but all I could absorb from that text is "one round" and then go on giving a negative critic of "almost every PR server".

It's a little hard to do anything with this kind of feedback as it doesn't seem to aim at anything in specific (almost sounding like a rant). But your claims of "no administration" at that given time will be checked upon. Thank you for that. I would just appreciate better objectivity next time.

Arcturus,

While I have to admit that my post doesn't win gold for "most useful criticism ever written on the internet" I have to respond to you:

a) Mineral is agreeing with me, so I have to have a point there.
b) When I wrote it I was on the server for some time already (1-2 rounds) which weren't PR-primetime either so basically I was a bit pissed and yes, it was a rant, nothing else...wasn't meant to be either.
c) My guys and me are playing about 40+ hours of PR per week on different servers (NEW, PRTA, CIA mostly) so believe me when I say that I HAVE the finger on the pulse of the community...and it is pumping VERY weak atm.

----

Also I have to admit that I don't have any idea of what to do about it. The things we were talking about some months ago like "coordinated attacks" or "SLs talking about a general battle plan for the first deployment" are totally out of perspective right now. The quality of some or let's say many players has dropped to a point were it seems most have never even played a game with weapons before. Most of the time I am just totally buffed by the stuff happening around me. The other day when a marked sniper was pining our heads down but some people still stood up and got nailed I refused to risk my civilian-life for them and said: "don't you know about that sniper, he is marked for the last 5 minutes now?" He replied: "What? Am I supposed to look on my map, I want to kill stuff!" And it was no joke...sad.

----

When I am squad-leading I always try to communicate my plans or edit them accordingly to others, warn other SLs about stuff that my mates are reporting, build good (read: a bit further away, but hidden, long spawnable, opening various ways to the objective, etc.) Fobs or have a far away squad member go commander and do it, etc.

I love PR cause it offers an environment in which literally thousands of decisions need to be made by a group of 32 strangers to create a good time for everyone (at least on that side :) ) but sadly people don't want to share and coordinate their ideas...neither intra- nor inter-squadwise.

I agree too last night:

Join NEW shortly after Silent Eagle starts, seems I am the only non German, French or Italian playing, leave go to PRTA which was on the end of a steam roll Beruit round map changes to Kashan server pop immediately drops to 15v15 and gradualy dies cmpletely (at 2230CET - bizarre).

Seeing Zebra is on Kashan about half full I join as I am practising heli trans (past crashing stage but far from 1337 stage) and Kashan is easy, the players there are relaxed (plus if I am insulted it's in Russian) and have great fun flying the Kiowa with a Russian guy (andr...).

Funny but I start to enjoy Zebra's relaxed stuff atm

KiloJules I'm not implying that I disliked your conduct or what you're getting at. Is that this is a feedback thread and as an admin I feel that is hard to do something in concrete with what you've given me.

The times when admin in the server I know that the crew do their best to call the unresponsive/incompetent/intra-squad SLs attention but it doesn't seem to work all the time which can be quite frustrating. We are aware of this issue we will adress it in the admin meeting tomorrow.

Improvement is a possibility, but fixing...yeah, that's going to be hard considering how the new playerbase is at the moment. I'm optimistic though. ;-)

And the sad thing is that the people we are talking about will never read one page on the forums.
User Ubaydah: "I used to play Call of Duty a lot and Battlefield 3. I am really good at those games 10th prestige, High K/d., I can kill people easily, etc. But on PR, for me, to be honest, I kind of suck."

User Not_able_to_kill: "Frontliner, you like evil man who comes to family house during christmas, takes out tree because it's too happy, so they can be just as sad as you"

Either someone messed with the ticket count just now on Beirut or some serious bug happened. IDF lost 250+ tickets in 2 minutes without losing any flags and having all flags but the factory.
