Well, not necessarily TrackIR, but if it is possible with some kind of new TrackIR beta version, then, yes.
Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.

Now that PR has stepped into Arma II I cannot play PR:BF2. I haven't even bothered to try. Indispensable for pilots and a major immersion factor overall. Not to mention how useful it is to be able to check your flanks whilst running/driving/flying straight ahead. Find a friend that has one and try it. It completely changed gameplay for me. It takes some tweaking and getting used to but it is worth it.

Bought TrackIR couple weeks ago. Glad I got it and absolutely love it!

I think it would only be useful if I had three monitors. So I'll have to go with no. (can't vote though, using my phone)

I have TrackIR but its very hard to get used to. Its fine when flying/driving, but when you get into close combat its a pain to keep looking down the barrel. Guess i have to train more.

Is there no way to disable its functionality during CQB so that you don't have to constantly look down the sights with your real head? Like a "TrackIR on/off hotkey"?

Just a question can you use it effectively with a single monitor? I mean when you turn your head you are no longer looking at the monitor?
Forgive my bad English... :?

Yea, works fine. It doesn't track 1:1, so for example if you'd turn your head 1 degree IRL, it would move the camera ingame 10 degrees. Just as an example.

Ofcourse, because then looking right or left would actually mean looking away from the monitor. :D
