Let's talk time.

What timeframe should we be looking at most directly? It seems that everyone is looking at modern combat. Does everyone want to concentrate on fights from a few years back (Desert Storm), more current fights (Afganistan, Iraq), or possible very real near future conflicts (North Korea). I lean toward current and possible near future conflicts. Those were just the ones I came up with quickly I know their are many more. What does everyone think?

This is something we need to decide on once the setting is established. I believe Requiem said we'd stick to whatever BF2 provides initially, and then move forward on our own after we have whatever changes done that need to be done. Since BF2's timeframe is "very near future", it's reasonable to assume that we'll just be sticking within that timeframe and before, not afterwards.
