Invalid CD Key

Hey guys i've been playing Pr BF2 since release and ive had this problem before but i was always able to fix it. I had to reformat my computer so i had to re install bf2. I bought my CD key off amazon and used their downloader to install bf2 which i have done in the past with no problems. I am getting the "Your cd key is not valid" message. I have read through all the stickies and tried everything with NO luck. I used the .exe's and manually went into my registry. I have made new bf2 usernames and still no luck. Like i said, i have had this problem before but was always able to fix it.. until now. I have also re installed about 6 times. I was getting the same message when joining vanilla bf2 servers but i fixed that and now the issue is only with PR. Any suggestions?

TLDR: Invalid cd key, bought through amazon downloader, tried all solutions. This happened in the past but i was always able to fix it.

Bump currently having same problem, though I have a legit CD version. And BF2 works all fine, its just PR thats messing up.

I tried like Qishy here, to edit the key manually, I tried with the cdkeyfix.exe and still no luck.

Though let it be said the laptop has only been on for just a few hours. And windows was just installed.

I can confirm that I have net framework 4.0 installed, and not 3.5 and I used on my other PC, could this be causing this maybe?

sorry for delayed response,
I'm not too familiar with Amazon download version of BF2, Do you have your CDKey, i.e. can you see it in your purchase history or inside the downloader administration screen on Amazon.com?

try this tool first, let me know if it fixes your problem,

Tema's Fix fixed the key problem, now..... Where to donate? ;D

Btw I am using the CD version, and it is the complete collection package I got. Containing vBF2, Special Forces & Battlefield 2 Booster Pack (EU&AF)

However I only have vBF2 installed. I before I tried this though it seemed it happened after patch 1.5 was installed, but works fine on 1.41 and 1.0

you only need BF2

also when you are installing patches did you install

a 1.41 first and then 1.5? because you cant install 1.5 first

I wanted to give an update. The above generator didn't work 100% but i can connect to atleast 1 server. It's european but atleast i can play lol..

Heres my Installation Path:

# Installation of vBattlefield 2.
# Installation of vbf2 patch 1.41 (This was on the disk and popped up after the vbf2 installation)
# Installation of vbf2 patch 1.5 (Seperate download from Gamershell)
# Installation of BF2

R part 1,2,3, mappack & Mumble

Like I said before, it happened after installing patch 1.5, maybe it was a currupted download which I dought as I redownloaded it to assure this, and I have used the patch off gamershell both for installs of PR on friends PC's and on my seperate computers.
