[PR v0.973] =]H[= HARDCORE INS/AAS SM0.5 Mumble
New rules, new feedback thread.
Feel free to voice your opinions or concerns.
The Following are the New and Revised Server Rules as of October 22nd 2012.
=]H[= HARDCORE GAMING COMMUNITY PRv0.973 Server
***NEW*** Baseraping is no longer allowed on Insurgency maps until server population reaches 40 players.
***NEW*** Mortars are not permitted within DOD/main bases.
***NEW*** All players must join a squad.
***NEW*** Mumble is mandatory.
1. NO RACISM OR EXTREME VULGAR LANGUAGE:
Respect other players and the admins. If you know you shouldn't say it, don't. Although we allow swearing in our server, we do NOT allow for any cursing to be directed at anybody, especially at admins. We value free speech, but keep politics out of the game, trying to stir up an argument is a no no. Any Global chat that is non game related and seen as spam (Useless, repetitive, annoying, taking up useful space, etc) is not permitted. Keep it game related or don't say anything at all.
2. IF YOU WANT TO USE AN ASSET YOU MUST BE IN THE APPROPRIATELY NAMED SQUAD. USE THE ASSET AS YOUR SQUAD NAME:
This rule Does Not Apply to Insurgency Factions. Be specific! Use the asset as your squad name. Vehicles must be properly manned to be used. Do not solo assets!
This rule pertains only to HEAVY ASSETS, which are defined to be assets of mass destruction (either heavily armored or that deliver heavy weapons), and/or by the requirement of a crewman kit. These include everything from planes to tanks, and also include the TOW Humvees, CROWs Humvees, and AA vehicles (as they carry heavy weapons). Mortars are NOT a claimable asset. Vehicles such as logistic trucks, 50 cal or transport Humvees, wagons, or horses, do not count!
Make sure to name your squad correctly and accurately. Names such as CAS or ARMOR are not permitted, as they claim multiple assets. Instead name those assets as Jets and TANK/APC as it is a more appropriate name and it includes both jet fighter and bomber for the JET squad, and Bradleys OR tanks respectively for the latter.
In case of a squad bug, if there is no squad for the asset you want to use, you are permitted to use it under one of the available open squads. Duplicate squads are NOT allowed here, unless you are in a large map such as KASHAN that allows for multiple crewed tank squads. No more than 2 of such duplicate squads are allowed at any one time.
If you get in an asset you are not part of, it will be seen as ASSET STEALING. If you receive such a warning (for asset stealing), it does not mean you should abandon the asset in the middle of the map and leave, it means you will return it to the main base, after typing out in chat to the admin, that you understand and are bringing it back (Or else it will seem as though you are carrying on with the asset and avoiding the admins requests).
Additionally, this is NOT A TRAINING SERVER. If you do not know how to operate an asset DO NOT TAKE IT. Players will be watched as they operate their assets, if it is apparent you cannot use them properly, you will be asked to disband your squad after a certain amount of tries.
3. REQUESTING SPECIAL KITS:
Player Kits are based on first come, first served, this applies to all.
4. BASERAPING RULES FOR SERVERS:
Baseraping is no longer allowed on Insurgency maps until server population reaches at least 40 players.
Baseraping is NOT allowed on the AAS Maps.
*Mortars*: Mortars must be attackable on foot by enemy forces at all times - No building inside mains/DOD.
AAS MAPS: Cannot enter or fire within 6 keypads/2 grids of a main base, no flyovers. This includes firing into the main base. If you shoot into the direction of the main, it is also seen as base rape. Certain weapons have a range on them and can end up in the main (Not saying you should watch your directional fire from the middle of the map so that you don't hit the main, unless you are doing so deliberately), be mindful of that. Main Base Areas include Asset Spawn areas & Repair Station. You are allowed to DEFEND yourself if engaged from an enemy main (Ex: The castle on MEC). Once all flags are capped, you are allowed to attack the main base in AAS, however, should the flag previous to the main flag go back into neutral for the enemy, anybody left inside the cap radius of the main base must leave asap, any incoming forces to the main base must turn around.
5. PLEASE KEEP SQUAD LOCKING TO A MINIMUM:
Locking of squads will only be allowed at the beginning of a map or for single asset squads. Once your squad is set please unlock it. If an admin ask you to unlock your squad you must do so ASAP. You must unlock your squad if its not a special squad when the squad bug is present and we decide to continue with the game, unless there are enough squads open to accommodate everyone.
6. NO INTENTIONAL TEAMKILLING:
If you are intentionally TK'd DO NOT RETALIATE! Notify an admin who will deal with the offending player. If you accidentally TK a teammate, apologize. Please avoid punishing for accidental TKs .The server is set to temporary auto-ban for the duration of the map, any player who TK's 3 times in succession. Your punishes count, use them for when it matters, and not for when somebody runs over your mine by accident.
7. GAME PLAY. KEEP IT REAL!
We expect that your motivation is to play the game the way it was designed, utilizing real world combat tactics and teamwork. NOT to exploit the game limitations. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. Like landing a chopper on an enemy, this wouldn't happen in a real combat situation, it shouldn't happen in game. Bluefor may never employ suicide tactics.
8. MAIN BASE COURTESY:
This Rule Applies whenever you're at the Main Base. This includes firing of weapons, smoke grenades, rocks, fixed weapons and general disruptive behavior. Main bases are used to regroup, set strategies, resupply and repair. Please don't be a distraction, be professional! You are allowed to fire from the main to engage any enemies that are threatening the main.
9. DO NOT Place Hideouts or Firebases inside Walls/Buildings (Glitching) You will be Banned!!
If the radio is not visible and able to be knifed by the enemy, the FOB must be destroyed.
10. CREATE SQUAD TIMER (1:30 rule)
There is NO 1:30 timer rule on our server. Players are free to create a squad as soon as the server is started.
11. TEAM SWITCHING:
Must be kept to a minimal. Our admins however are allowed to teamswitch upon load in, to their desired side and must stick to it (meaning we do not TS every round for the hell of it). Occasional switching may occur by us to admin a situation. If you are caught teamswitching to stay on one faction or teamswitching a few times in a single round, you will be removed from the server without a warning. You must be on the same side as your buddy if you are operating on the same IP. Ghosting will be assumed otherwise. Clans should also play on same side whenever possible. Please ask an admin, and if possible he will teamswitch you upon your next death. Be advised, that based on how many people per side, this might not always work immediately.
12. ADMINISTRATION RULES:
Our admins have a rule book that we follow with protocols to deal with all situations, if you get kicked without warning or banned, it is either because you fall under the severe rule breaking situation (Which does not warrant a warning) or you have missed the warning messages on top of our server screen (they sometimes flash through quickly, and admins will not be able to tell if that has happened). If an admin gets a complaint over chat, he warns first (Unless it falls under a severe rule breaking situation), then kicks if repeated, then bans if repeated again. The warning will be skipped to a kick or ban (Based on the severity of the offense) if an admin witnesses the offense first hand. (Ex: A player blatantly teamkilling an admin in his face will warrant that player an immediate ban, ban messages calling a player an asshat basically mean the player is disruptive and is breaking multiple rules at once). Hence, should you get kicked, or banned, or if you witness an event and want to start questioning the admin about his "rash" actions, DON'T. You will be seen as a spammer, that content does not belong in all chat, will take too long to explain and take up game time. Admins have more information through ADFramework and TS3 than you, and have made their decision based on things you might not know or are not aware of. You are free to post in the admin abuse section or join our TS3 channel to speak to us directly. If you were banned please appeal accordingly at our BAN APPEAL section with the proper format outlined under the sticky, but keep in mind to be respectful. We understand if you are mad due to a mistake or misunderstanding, however it will not help your case or push it any faster if you disrespect the admin or the clan. If you have any complaints against an admin, there is a ADMIN ABUSE thread, please post there, but keep it professional.
13. CHEATERS AND HACKERS:
It goes without saying, any hacking or cheating is a ban on sight.
Feel free to voice your opinions or concerns.

Pointless feedback thread is pointless. Considering you are shutting down the server to fund some silly WarZ server.

You really need to pay attention better Shwedor.=HCM= Shwedor wrote:Pointless feedback thread is pointless. Considering you are shutting down the server to fund some silly WarZ server.
That was fielded as a possibility. That feature hasn't even been implemented in the game yet.
Other possibilities are minecraft, ArmaII or a mod, or if one of you diehard PR players wanted to step up and take over the maintenance/funding, a PR server.
Nice to see you got yourself kicked out of the clan because you misunderstood the forum post, then decided to troll us by restarting the PR server every time it rebooted.

Hardly misunderstood, you went out of your way to push your agenda and force out the PR players. You wanted a conflict, don't be suprised when you get one. PR had just as many players as any other game the clan plays, but instead of considering that and our history as a PR clan you decided to push for your own game to be funded. You abused the position that was entrusted to you by the clan leader, which is typical of you and the others I've played with.

I was unaware you were involved in the conversation Coe and I had were he stated that was HIS agenda. Our PR server hasn't been full for more than a few hours on the weekends. At almost no time is it full on a weekday. You were given the opportunity to take over the server, yet instead, you troll it.=HCM= Shwedor wrote:Hardly misunderstood, you went out of your way to push your agenda and force out the PR players. I gave the PR portion of the clan more than ample time to step up, as of yet, none of you have. You (as in you, personally) refuse to see the population problem on our server, and rather than see the light, and allow the player base to consolidate, you go out of your way to paint the rest of the clan in a poor light with the rest of the PR community, just so you have a few more months of sitting waiting for players to fill, players that you helped alienate from our server.
You now have the chance to play PR all you want without all the headaches of being an admin. Lets see how long other servers will put up with your **** as long as we did.

Re: [PR v0.973] =]H[= HARDCORE INS/AAS SM0.5 Mumble
On 12//30/12, Hardcore will be shutting down it's PR server permanently. Sever traffic has not recovered since the earlier loss of our server licence, and it makes more sense to fill an active server than to attempt to populate an empty one. We still have active PR players, and haven't left this community, we just won't be hosting a server.
We have been branching out into other games in the past year, and have become less of a PR clan, and more of a gaming community. Our TS3 is still open to the public.
Thank you Devs for providing us this game, and all of the years of enjoyment it has brought us.
Mods, because of Hardcores reputation, and that there are quite a few players that are extremely vocal in their negative opinion of us, you may want to lock this before it gets out of hand.
Thank you.

This thread has served its purpose and so has been closed.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!
