Still playing?

Hello everyone!
Is project reality still populated? The mod looks bloody amazing and i really want to play it but i dont want to be forever alone. Have seen gameplays from early 2012 so it seems to be populated but i just want to be sure(dont want to buy bf2 in vein). Is the mod still alive and kicking or dead?

PR is a amazing mod and you should really start playing it!
Just make sure you got a good understanding of how the game is meant to be played before you jump in to the battlefield. Watch clips on youtube and read the manual.

Thanks for the feedback, my prayers have been answered. I will definitely buy bf2 and check the mod out it look like the ultimate game for me i have checked a lot of videos on youtube and seen what its all about. Love teamwork and realism so i think this will suit me very well. Thank you so much for the tutorial and all other help.

How to get Project Reality? | PRTA - Project Reality Teamwork Alliance

Here is everything you need to know.

Nevertheless here is the order:

Download and install Patch 1.41 and then 1.5 for Battlefield 2
PR: Part1-Part2-Part3 (do not install Mumble 0.5)
mappack
Mumble 1.0b4 Guide & Installation File - CLICK HERE

And you're good to go.

Mini-mods like Vietnam, Falklands and Normandy are optional. They're not in the normal rotation and people only play them in events. For the latter, if you want to participate in one then the announcement post will come with instructions and an installation file.
But if you do want to try them out on Local then feel free to install them right now (just have in mind that in order to install Vietnam Beta 2 you will have to manually do it).

The 1.0 release will be a lot easier to install as everything will be packed together, but for now, those are the steps you need to take.
