Server/Popularity?

Post by Doro »

Well I slowly faded away from BF2 PR about a year or two ago and honestly I haven really found a game similar that I have liked. I use to play a lot on the Tactical Gamer server but heard they recently took their server down.

Basically I was wondering if there are good consistent servers out there that I could jump in on and get a good teamwork experience?

They said they would be back when 1.0 came out, so I would put money on it.

Oh, I wasn't aware that they planned to come back for 1.0 .........their BF2 PR forums don't really seem to hint at this.

I hope they will, although I'm enjoying my time on CIA, but it still doesn't cut it. I had that "I'm at home" feeling when on TG.

Best server so far is Hardcore.
I have gotten alot of bad experience from admins on NwA, and especially CIA.

But so far the Hardcore admins have been awesome, but i just wish it would be more popular

admins are only humans and everyone react differently.

and at some point even admins can snap and make the wrong decision.

I would say NwA (because Im a member in that clan). New is good aswell.

I'm not laughing because that's my clan you "especially" singled out. If you have troubles with our admins or anything, please go to our website @ CIAGaming.org to address abuse or server quality.

We take quality control very seriously so I call BS on your "experience".

PRTA is best experience I had since TG. NEW has really great game play level too, mostly because everyone using mumble and there are a lot of clan squads playing, usually get in a good mix with pubbies. OD-S recently started a NA server, as long as there are people on the server the rounds usually get too overheated (intense) and really nice, if you're adrenaline junky.

That's the server you'll find really on high level of team play and team cohesion if you're the vet. back from the old days ^^.

Most PR games are perfectly average now days, doesn't matter what server you're on. Admins can be avoided if you just follow the rules, just make sure you're wise to each servers individual pick of pure lunacy (A.K.A rules) and you will be good to go. All the active servers are the good servers.

Tactical Gamer's return on v1.0 is pending the outcome of the return of the player base stated by Wicks, the PR:BF2 Game Officer.
As to what the future holds, who knows. PRBF has long had a home at TG and for many, TG has always been the place to play this mod, the game was played 'right' here. Perhaps a new release, 128 player servers etc will see a sufficient spark of interest that we can revisit the situation at a later date. Nothing has been ruled out.
ANNOUNCEMENT TG PR:BF server closing down

I played nearly every round of my PR experience on that server. After a few months of playing I went as far as to become a supporting member of Tactical Gamer as I became furious with having to spam the refresh button in hopes to get a spot on the server to only get beat to it. All of us wish to see it's return. I will say I am one who is silently waiting in the shadows, as the only news in the past 18+ months on v1.0 is blogs posted by the devs, which isn't enough for me to hold my breath too hard. In the meantime, there's plenty of us who still play on the other servers or are active on other games (I personally spend a lot of my time playing DCS:World w/ Black Shark module and Lock On 2 while waiting on Lock On 3 to be released). You can find us on XFire, there's a PR Vets group on Steam:http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tgprv.

I "supported" Tactical Gamer server with money for a long time. They were the best server hands down. It's up to the community to decide on the direction of PR.

TG had it going on. The only thing that can save PR is the PR community. Clans SUCK at it.

Tactical Gamer was an Excellent Server. Yeah that's right, I said that, go a head and BAN ME from your server now!

Where there is good player base, there is always one good server.
I usually go CIA now, the only server I dont lag too much compare with others in EU and NA.(But still got 400 ping. :( )
And what's more, CIA has a good player base in which I did enjoyed combat there.

Talk about TG, I do love it, Since I had an even better PING and there were pretty well player base. It's good to see it will be back.
Jolly, you such a retard.
