Militia Need AK 74 Scope again !!!

People kept saying Militia is balanced if they ambush...blah,blah,blah. That takes actual work while it takes must less work for BluFor to click on thermals(still require reading of PR manual; which unfortunately does not cover how to conduct ambushes as Militia) and shoot Militia from well outside their range.

The militia are different. You are supposed to play them differently than any other faction. And yes, that different style of play requires more thought and effort. And I've seen many teams excel at that style of play and use what limited equipment they have to wipe the floor with teams that had scopes, armor, thermals, all that stuff.

One faction on a map requiring more thought and effort, especially luck and incompetence of opponents = imbalanced.

It is just addition of scope to some spawnable kits(or just two, one for SL and one for rifleman); not going to make militia overpowered against anything.
BluFor already gets thermals in vehicles, better assets...etc(referring specifically to fool's road).

I have already suggest way back that militia gets AK47 and scoped SKS as rifleman kits; SKS has its own disadvantage such as 10 round mag + no reload until empty. Better than right now; with inaccurate(model-wise) AK-74 being useless in comparison to AKs-47(2 shot kill instead of 3 shot kill of AK-74).

SL can have nice scoped FAL.

For militia insurgency map kits should stay the same whereas on AAS especially fool's road a scope is really important. We get them anyways by blowing an enemy's head off and taking his kit so why shouldn't they be included?

You try that when server is 32-30, always.

It already happens and lack scope is probably biggest reason why it happens(other than herp derp "must be good guys" syndrome).

Militia is great for one reason - it is an original faction, not conventional and (in my opinion) not even unconventional. Adding scopes to their kits would really damage the kind of gameplay you experience as a Militant now. I love their set of weapons (especially Alternative AT and M60), so i am against the addition of scopes to some more of their kits. Sniper and Marksman is already enough scopes on their side (Have you ever tried SVD without scope? ).

Anyway, I really would like to see them on some 4km map. It might be interesting (or it might be not - e.g. I really don't want to meet Chally with my T55 ).

Playing in AAS on Dragonfly with iron sights scares the shit out of me, knowing the enemy have scopes, bloody nightvision in APC, better armor.

Ironsighted dmr was always used for insurgency by BluFor who just want higherpowered rifle in cqb(and not let ins have 1337 scope dmr).

Now that it is no longer possible to keep DM kits, they are worthless.

Really? i would take iron sights over a scope everyday, and i highly doubt that this is the second highest reason for teamswitching

I too enjoy the large variety of weapons avaliable to the Militia faction

tbh, i really dont think they need scopes, marksman and sniper should be enough seeing as all of the Militia maps are in forests of some kind

I just wish the Milita sniper (and INS... AND Taliban) had more than 8 additional rounds on top of the ten rounds in the rifle itself.

They need scopes, most modern east euro ak style weapons NOW have rails on them. It wouldnt be far fetch for militia to order new weapons. I see the news in Syria ETC all those rebels look like they are using "new in production" weapons. This is posible for modern militia to use the same thing. ..
easy to do.. I think its acceptable because scope definately helps any faction. Its not fair to think just because the faction uses AK varient meens they are too stupid or too poor to buy a scope.

Ya true but I figure militia means more organized then insurgent so probably a better budget, i mean they are running armor and better uniform. They have to be more para military..
