Firstly it was like you sad. But it has grown after time and now its like it is.
So its a relic from our history of the clan.
Now its named MST-G and MST-A. (Ground and Air) Tank is also not realy a MST. The game dont support such realistic supdevide. It would oversize its requirement.
some of you may already heard that we had a problem with a cheater in our clan.
Well, there was this guy, a friendly, very active and loyal clan member, who even joined our reallife clan gathering this summer. His name was Kl4ppstuhl and he has been playing along with us for about 7 months. We called him "rambo" because he always had impressive scores on our gaming days.
A couple of weeks ago Challenger got suspicious of his skills. There must be something wrong if a player got 3.0 or 4.0 K/D's on every round. Well everyone got these sometimes, but he had them constantly. He took a couple of PB screenshots of him but could not find anything. He kept an eye on him.
Then there was the War against 3daC. Kl4ppstuhl had a K/D of 18/3 on Fools Road. This is pretty much impossible to achieve as an infantry squad member, playing against highly skilled opponents. Couple of weeks later, someone suddenly reported him as a cheater. He was on PRTA and some guys took a look at the BattleRecorder demo after his usual public pownage round and found some suspicious kills.
QRF administration immediately took action and tried to calm down the situation. Curry had a hard time playing against us in the war and now knowing there was a cheater involved, he understandably was really upset. We said that the community should give us time to analyse the reported demo, the demo's from our server and have a talk to him. It took 4-5 days, because it was a shitload of work and we really wanted to be sure that he was cheating, since the reported demo was no clear evidence for us.
It was suspicious at some points, but we did not see anything that would clearly show a player using hacks. So people started talking about QRF. That they defend cheaters and do not want to kick this guy out ... that they support hackers.
Well, after a lot of analysing, checking and a conversation with the suspect, we agreed with the rest of the community. He was definitely using a wallhack. As soon as we were totally sure that he was cheating, we kicked him out of our clan, banned him from our TS, website and PR server and are now trying to get him banned globally on GGC aswell.
We posted his GUID in the Server Administration Section in the PR forums and recommended every server admin to ban him from every PR server.
We have no sympathies with hackers and all that rumors that we supported him are totally bullshit. You guys need to understand that we completely trusted him, because we saw him in person and did not expect him to be cheating. We could not just ban him because someone posted some suspicious events of him. We needed time for an independent investigation. We came to the same conclusion as the rest of the community and excluded him from the game, so there should not be a problem.
Our clan is based on military simulation gameplay. We do not play because PR is fun, well of course it is, but the main reason is the teamwork and the use of tactics and roleplay. So our goal is not a nice score, it is winning the round. And all of our members know and represent that attitude. So it does not really make sense for any of us to use hacks. Except for people like Kl4ppstuhl, who obviously did not get our idea.
We are very sorry for this incident and hope that you guys do not lose your trust in us, just because of this one prick. We were too naive and should have started investigating much earlier. As Curry said, we should have noticed that there was something wrong with his stats. So we really appreciate your report Curry and are really happy that you opened our eyes and made us realize our mistake.
I hope we can close this case now and finally get back to the usual PR everyday life and simply play it instead of hunting down ******** like these. We will promise to be more watchful in the future and recognize possible hackers much faster. Lets just hope that we will never have to deal with one of them again and if so, we are pretty sure that with all the knowledge we collected about cheaters in PR this time, he won't survive long.
It must be a lesson for all cheaters. If you cheat, some day you are gonna be busted. Maybe not tomorrow, not even this year, but in the right time, when you don't expect it. Who cares, if you are noob or not a good skilled player, nobody going to shame you for this, but if you cheat - you are *******.
Some guy: "u a f** lier this guy dont use cheats i see him everyday... u draw tha lines u f*** loser"
We recently had issues with players that used the "[QRF]"Clantag.
They were banned from our server. ([QRF] Merc[Nsk], for example).
If you meet someone using our tag and you are not sure if he's in our clan (behaves inappropriately etc..), please report them to us so we can take further action.
A list of our members can be found at the Quick Reaction Force Website
Thank you!
+ We're still looking for some new members!
