Mumble Overlay not showing

Hi

I have really annoying problem. My PR:Mumble 1.0 is not showing up in the game.
Mumble links with bf2 and all sound work just how they are should work.
The overlay just is nowhere to be seen.
Im running everything as admin (mumble and pr).
I run mumble before pr.
My mumble overlay is enabled.
Sometimes the overlay randomly works but most of time no matter how many times i restart everything (mumble, pr and pc) i does not help.

I have no ideas how to fix this.
Any help is appreciated

What monitor resolution do you play PR on?
if it is 1080p of higher, download one of the overlay files at the end of the first post in that thread.

If your overlay is set up to go beyond the edge of your screen it can cause it to randomly show up or not.

Im using 1600x900 res if thats what you meant?
I tried using all those overlay file but the did not help.
But i really dont think its due the overlay going over the screen because i putting it on the middle of the screen using 5 columns.

Start Mumble as admin before starting Pr !

yes start PR mumble 1.0 before you start PR.

I start Mumble before Pr and i run both as admin. So thats not it.

Sorry for not answering as i was on vacation in USA for the first time ever <33...
Anyways.. yes i have read the guide and im not "stuck"at any point the overlay is just not showing up (tried again today, still nothing). All the setting are as they are supposed (i think so).

So I now have this issue too.

Tried reinstalling, didn't help, ,tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling, didn't help.

Reloaded my saved overlay file, and decided to simply move the overlay to middle of screen to see if there was a edge of monitor issue. There was, fixed it , then moved it back to edge, but not as close to the edge as before.

Start PRmumble and go to Configure->Settings->Overlay and simply move the Red dot that moves the location of the overlay on the screen. Click Apply/

See if it helps, fixed this issue for me.

It's working for me now, and I already used your method; it didn't work for me. Though it may for others, so thanks.

I managed to get it working by deleting some of the programs in the blacklist box. Not sure why it would fix my issue, but I'm having no troubles with it now.

Which programs did you delete in the blacklist? It sounds like a very interesting fix. I can't play with the overlay on because it CTDs my PR game. Would love to be able to turn it on.

Getting this issue as well. I've also spoken to others who are in the same boat and they haven't found a solution yet. I've tried re-installing Mumble and that hasn't worked and I will state that originally the Mumble overlay did work. - Just for some reason it disappeared after a while or so. I've tried everything in this thread, before anyone says anything, to no avail. (reinstall, start in admin mode, started old mumble ver and then this new version of mumble)

Nice to hear im not the only one. Have you found anything yet?
And how about some help from the PR Veterans?
Im still willing to donate that 20 euros or dollars...

I had the same Problem.
Solution for me was:
1.Load the Overlay
2.Save and Overwrite the old/loaded Overlay
3.Load the new saved Overlay
4.Done.
Worked for me i dont know why.

Okay my friend sort of solved the problem for me!
He sent me a custom overlay modified from the river overlay.
AND i also i have to run normal mumble before pr mumble.
AND i run the PR mumble on "normal" mode (So not as ADMIN).
Only after this do i log in to steam (as i bought BF2 from steam)
Then i close the normal mumble before i run PR as admin.

Still work like 33% of time, which i find really annoying!
So if anyone has some more effective solutions i would love to hear them!

It isn't showing up or it's crashing your game when enabled?
