i hate how innaccurat the sa80 is, and also whatever the weapon with the unlockable AT kit is, the .50 cal sniper is great, but i always thought that model of rifle was automatic, and also held 10 rounds, thats the way it is in DC and SOCOM, maybe its a different weapon that looks the same, again, not an expert on these things in any stertch of the imagination.

The unlockable sniper rifle is a variant of the Barrett M82 called the M95, here's some info I found on it:

Quoted from that page:

Quoted from that page:
In BF2 it does a lot more damage than the default m24 rifle, roughly about 90% of health. So a fully healthy player will survive a 1st hit, but if he's injured at all, he'll go down in that first shot. One variant of the M82 is the M95. This sniper rifle uses a bullpup design to conserve overall length. It is a bolt-action weapon capable of greater accuracy than the M82 (-1 MOA vs. 1.5-2 MOA), and the simpler design reduces both weight and price. The M95 is in use with 15 military forces, including the Navy SEALS.
