Cant join the most of the Servers in PR

Hello,

Im new in here and have a very angry Problem.
I had bought the BF2 Complete Collection extra to play PR.
Its all fine with it. I can play BF2 vanilla without any Problem.
But when in will Play PR i can only join only join 3 Servers, on that will active play gamers.
But when i will join the other (the best, because there are the most Players), it comes the Message "Your CD Key is not Valid".
Oke, i have read this here https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... post703027
i have try all the solution, but no one works.

What can i do?
Why can i join some Servers and some not?
Why will BF2 vanilla works fine without the message "Your CD key is not Valid" and with PR i have the problem on the most of the servers?

I tried all.... uninstall/install...CD key changer etc.
i want only to play PR -.-

And I Have Bought the Original! NO Pirate game or Flase CD key!

Please Help!

I have Bought a Physical Copy. The CD Key is on the Backside of The Manual. I Have buyed the game on a trusted Ebay Shop, where 600 games of the Complete Collection was already selled. i cant you sent the link.

I have contacted him already, but i cant send this game back, because bf2 vanilla works fine, and EA support dont answer on my ticket. I have open it on the 12.12.2012 but no answer. Maybe i get a new CD key.

But now i have the Problem.

thx for your help, but it dont work.

I have copied the files BF2KeyMan.exe, BF2KeyMan.md5, BF2KeyMan.sha in my Battlefield 2 Mainfolder, and had started the BF2KeyMan.exe with administrator rights.
After the start comes a window where i can write in the CD Key for BF2 and BF2 special force.
My CD Key for BF2 stand already in the field after the start of BF2KeyMan.exe and in BF2 Special force i dont write in anything (because i havnt install the addon) (or do i need it for PR?)
After that i have klick on Apply....nothing happen. I closed the programm, and tried some server, but they still not working.

It comes still the message "Your CD Key is not Valid".

Have i used the programm right?
Or have you maybe other solutions?

PS: I had installed PR like this:

install BF2 vanilla
Patch 1.41
Patch 1.5
PR #1,#2,#3
PR Mappack
install Mumble (i dont know how to use it ^^)

Other question: Cant i join servers when i havnt mumble on?

PPS: I have seen that i can join the server =PLA= 1# PR [Mumble] Tel Server, too.

A few servers don't use cd-key checks, which is why you can play on them even though your key is messed up.

Can you check in regedit under this branch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc

The value for (Default) should be
x9392_________(your key hash)____________

If the x9392 is missing, try adding it manually to the start of the string. This used to fix peoples' issues back in 1.4 & 1.41

yes. But Now scince i have used the programm bf2keyman.rar, comes the messages at bf2 vanilla too. Before i had used the programm, bf2 vanilla works fine, without problems and i was joining Servers with CD-Key check.

PS.: The BF2 Key that i wrote in bf2keyman is right.

At this point I suggest you reinstall VBF2 from scratch, with UAC disabled just for good measure.

When you type the key in the regedit make sure its without " - " inside.

You can't type the key directly into the registry anymore.

Version 1.5 hashed the cd key, so only the x9392 is unhashed.

im so tired about this fu***** EA Support, and this #'%"?%&?" CD Key!

EA Support dont answer... but my Ticket is 1 week old... nobody go on the phone in the hotline.... I wait there 1 f******* Hour!

I wanna only play PR!
And i cant send the game back to the seller, because i have open the box and used the game already.

One question when i buy the complete Collection on the Origin Store again (http://store.origin.com/store/eade/de_D ... 0/sac.true), and install the game with the physical copy that i had buy, and use the CD Key from the Origin store, will it then work???

Oke, i was buying BF2 Complete Collection about Origin. That was again 10 euro. and i had must install origin. But NOW IT WORKS! I dont know why the physical Copy do not work with the CD Key on the Manual. I must bought BF2 Complete twice to solve the problem.

But the Key from Origin dont work with the physical Copy. In the future i must always download BF2 from Origin and install it to play PR.

After 2 weeks of problems with BF2 i know that EA Support is shit, and dont Buy physical Copys of EA games... but this is the only one that i own from EA, and it will be the only one.

Glad to hear it's sorted now.

Although it doesn't make much sense that VBF2 worked fine before. I'm guessing something was going wrong with the install process which was screwing up your key-hash.
