IS anyone else getting Punkbuster problems for MD5? I know im not the only one getting kicked for it because i heard people in mumble saying it too.

i was on CIA last night and when i had the sound mod on playing Normandy maps i got kicked about every 15 mins.

After i disabled it i was fine for the next Vietnam map.

The sound mod doesn't even really apply to the mini mods does it?

They said that SM is now by default allowed on all servers. Weird.

IF the server admins followed the instructions correctly soundmod is now enabled on all 0.981 servers.
If you get kicked from a certain server ask their admins if they changed it.

Sure it does, the minimods use a LOT of PR sounds, so using the soundmod will still be "featured" a lot.

It's available on the PRTA website. But i was on MerK last night and one of our guys (Pvt_p3te) i think it was kept getting MD5 errors and dropping every 10 mins or so. Fair play to the lad for coming back again! But i'm not sure if he had the soundmod.

However, i've got the soundmod enabled and i didn't have any such problems.

Speaking of normandy and vietnam do they get played often? do they have separate servers or special events? sorry if I am offtopic.

edit: nevermind, just saw the update. :mrgreen:

Also I RECOMMEND you to play Normandy maps with the soundmod, the Sherman main gun sound is terribly awesome, will make it default for the next version :mrgreen:
