PR wierd won't start 0.98

Hey so I got a new computer and I just fresh installed BF2 and patch 1.51 and then installed 0.97 and got the 0.97 - 0.98 patch but when I start the exe( I am running as admin) it just opens the like start up window with the PR dog tag and then after like 1 minute it disappears and the game doesn't start. I don't really know what to do. Help please

Just tried the thing in my pr folder called pr.exe not the Project reality 0.973 launcher and it like said it couldn't find my BF2 installation folder and then when i pressed okay on it the same PR launcher with the dog tag showed up and the main menu folder was created on my desktop with a PR error notepad thing showing up on my desktop as well saying this:

Hey Bill, I'll post this first, please double check you've gone through all the steps correctly,

LITOralis.nMd']Was BF2 installed and working before you installed PR? Was BF2 patched to 1.5 ?
Can you log in to vanilla BF2?
If BF2 was already working, we'll suggest one course of action. (Could be firewall/antivirus/router/installation error/etc)
IF BF2 was just installed NOW so you can play PR, all the parts have to be installed in proper order.
Please read below and make sure you installed BF2 and PR in this order:

Here is the installation guide in tl;dr format:

Install BF2.
Run BF2.
Note the version number on the bottom left corner of the log-in screen. Write it down.
log in or create a user account.
join online game.
adjust your audio and video settings now for convenience.
exit BF2.
Reboot.

(Optionally if you bought it) install Special Forces Addon.
Run BF2.
log in.
join online game.
exit BF2.
Reboot.

install 1.41 FULL PATCH.
Run BF2.
log in.
join online game.
exit BF2.
Reboot.

install 1.5 PATCH.
Run BF2.
log in.
join online game.
exit BF2.
Reboot.

Download and install 0.973 full installer.
Start the PR shortcut on desktop.
log in.
join online game.

If you crash at the splash screen, or the screen goes black and then crashes to desktop, try to start PR in windowed mode by following the directions below:

Edit your PR shortcut and ( what AfterDune said ) put this in it

Dont just copy paste this, but adjust to your install location. Make sure you dont omit quotation marks or it wont work. 

If you start in windowed mode and it CTDs, a Message will pop up telling you the problem. Take a screenshot or write this down and post it to this thread.

You can then download the PR:Vietnam, PR:Normandy, PR:Falklands and Anders Soundmod at your discretion.

This problem can occur if you installed PR using a different Windows User Account, or have some sort of problem with UAC during installation.

BTW, does BF2 vanilla online multiplayer work?

I did most of the order as followed except for rebooting all the time and joining games. But I went on BF2 just now and i can join and play a server perfectly fine.

Also once you download PR:BF2 0.97 - 0.98 is there supposed to be a different shortcut or is it still The 0.973 one.

I think it is probably an installation problem, but it makes no sense because I installed BF2, got patch 1.41, then 1.51. And then got PR 0.973 and then the recent one.
