Mic Muted Mumble Hot-keys Not Working

ive been playing BF2 PR for a week now but when ever i launch PR.98 with mumble my hot-keys don't respond and the icon come up saying that my mic is muted but its not, i did the audio wizard and my head-set works fine
i went into control panel and changed it to default device and still nothing.
project reality is not worth playing without mumble.
need help
