Have you tried disabling your anti virus?

I used to have those pauses/lag you speak of, until I tried disabling my AV, which was Bullguard in this case, and the issue disappeared.

Not usually, but sometimes. It's worth a try (obviously, be sure to not do any other internet activity while your anti-virus is off). Edit: Gore ninja'd me.
Would you post your system specs and operating system, too?
Are you sure it's hardware problems and not the internet connection? Does it happen on singleplayer, too?

My anti-virus is Norton and my PC Specs are:
Windows 7 (64-bit)
AMD Athlon(tm) ii X2 240 processor 2.80 ghz
Nvidia Geforce GT 610 (2 GB Ram)
And it happens in both Co-op and Multiplayer.

If you have PR isntalled ona HDD and not a SSD, you need to defrag your HDD where PR is installed.

I had this as well last night after updating to 0.981, never happened before. Nothing's changed on the PC regarding software or hardware.

I can tell you about my experience.
I used to lag when my pc was overheated. I found a solution for it now it doesn't anymore..

Defragging made it worse. A reinstall seems to have done nothing to fix it either.[R-COM]LITOralis.nMd wrote:If you have PR isntalled ona HDD and not a SSD, you need to defrag your HDD where PR is installed.
